"Great location, very nice and helpful host. Totally recommend! The room was clean, equipped with everything you need for a vacation stay. Clean bed linens, fresh towels (beach size included), mini-fridge, shampoo & hair conditioner, anti-musquito device. Parking possible near by and good place to eat 2min away by walk. Chania city center and old center is about 15 min by car, but also shops and restaurants in the surroundings, not necessarily to go in the center. "

"I ended up staying at Casa Modiano for over a week and was able to stay in several rooms. Room 5 with a couch was my favorite because it was a bit more spacious but all three rooms I had were lovely. Great decor, incredible location, delicious breakfast. Loved sitting on the balcony sipping wine, feeling the breeze off the ocean and writing. Near everything but one street removed from the waterfront noise. Much more charming. "

"Everything was beyond words and perfection. The staff was absolutely incredible and thoughtful, including packing us breakfast picnic boxes to go when we had an early hike. Everything was positively amazing and I couldn't suggest any improvements as there simply isn't anything that wasn't phenomenal. Fully recommend dinner at Salis nearby as well. We definitely plan on staying here again next time on Chania!"

"Located in beautiful old port historic area, a block from the water. Lots of restaurants, parks, shops within walking distance. Only draw back is road is pedestrian only and parking, when available, is 2 blocks away at public lot. If that lot is full, need to find somewhere on nearby roads. "
