"Overall is ok, 30min drive from the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon and close to Höfn for grocery. A very quiet area with glacier outlets surrounding. The cabin a little bit small if you have some luggages to open. The cleanliness of the cooking utensil, pots and pans depend on the previous traveller occupied the cabin, given there is no dishwasher. The water supply is limited and hot water runs from a small electric boiler. You need to wait a while after another person has taken a hot shower....

"We stayed here for two nights so that we could do a glacier and ice cave hike, and a glacier lagoon boat trip at Jokulsarlon. The guesthouse was in an amazing setting close to the mountains. The cabins were clean and very comfortable. The included continental breakfast was excellent. "Our trio booked the warm and cozy cottage, with its own parking, 2 comfy bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, spacious dining room and lounge, speedy Wi-Fi and private deck, from where we viewed the northern lights (don't forget the key!). The accommodation was immaculate. The shower drained slowly, but we were forewarned of the issue. The breakfast buffet was varied and hearty; don't miss the homemade lamb pâté and jams! "Make sure you understand no hot water, no showers and a long dirt road. If all that is ok then this tent was very nice. Comfy cot, carpet on the floor. There is a thick comforter but no sleeping bag to retain heat. We needed to wear hats and at least double layers to stay warm"
