"The location of the hotel is amazing, you cannot be closer to the Great Buddha, it is also a good experience to sleep in an old Japanese room. That said, you then understand why old Japanese houses are not worth much and Japanese people tend to prefer living in some modern less exotic dwellings. "It was great. Wonderful, friendly and thoughtful staff. Front desk was great help with so many questions. It's nice that some staff did not speak English, and some did very well. One morning my daughter was exhausted and couldn't make breakfast. Without asking the chef packed her a special to go breakfast that was perfect and amazing. Arigato gozaimasu Kamakura WeBase.... The new beds and feather pillows were difficult for us to sleep on. Futon firmness and personal preferences. "

"The staff was very hospitable, both at the hotel and restaurant. The French restaurant they have on property is amazing, phenomenal food, and the service was excellent. A perfect place for us to celebrate our 20th anniversary."

Superior Japanese Style Room with Shared Bathroom (Rainbow)

"I once stayed in a traditional Japanese hotel. but this feels more like a hostel. The rooms are very small and so is the shared spaces. This place is good for solo travel or a quick night stay. The things I enjoyed the most was the comfortable mattresses and the ability to drop my luggage off in the morning. "

"This was one of my favorite hostel experiences ever. Makoto, Ana, and Karen are the nicest staff ever, we extended out stay multiple days because we met other amazing people staying at this hostel and became very familiar with Kamakura. Kamakura should be a multi-day trip and you should definitely stay at Iza Kamakura House if you want a really comfortable and laid back place to stay. "

"My family came to visit from US and I wanted to show them the area around Kamakura and Zushi. T-Reef was an OUTSTANDING host and communicated VERY well. House it located in a perfect area. 10 minute walk to the beach, right next to grocery store, a CREATE, 7.11, and a family mart. He includes all you need to cook. Excellent hotel near the airport

"This hotel is lovely and very close to Narita. A shuttle is offered, be aware that it stops running prior to late flight arrival. The room was nice and clean, not huge, but large enough to get around the bed without running into things. The breakfast was excellent!!! They had a good variety of items and the beef was the best meat I had tasted in months."

"Great stay with second to none hospitality and service. Hotel is located directly connected to the Queen's Court/Plaza and plenty of dining and shopping options in the immediate area. Nearly everything is within walking distance to include subways and the train station. Hotel does have parking available. Highly recommended. "

"This hotel is well located overlooking the Bay in Yokohama. It’s not too far from the subway station. It’s very big with plenty of eating options. The room was spacious and very comfortable and clean. There were plenty of amenities to use. The breakfast venue had a beautiful view although it had no buffet so very old school but this suited the ambiance. The staff were outstanding, very friendly and accommodating, exceptionally proactive and professional. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel, it’s a gem."
