"Very new, well managed hotel. What we appreciated most is that it’s located right next to the Tokushima station, which was extremely convenient in getting around the area. "

"This hotel is dated and has definitely seen better days. I had a non-smoking room that reeked of smoke :(. However, it was low cost and everything worked. The guy in reception was welcoming and friendly- made a particular effort to explain things, show me the free drinks in reception and hand me a tourist map. Location is walkable from centre (flat walk), but slightly further than ideal. Many dining options easily reached, but don’t expect much English spoken (have a translation app handy)."

"Very comfortable hotel-ryokan with very good kaiseki food. Since the venue is not new, there were outdated room setup and condition, but the service and comfort very well compensated the shortcomings. "

"The staff was kind and friendl. Many spoke enough English to help me out. The food was delicious. And the rooftop hot tub was a dream. The hallways and room are a little muggy at first, and the smell of wood is strong, but once I turned down the ac and spent enough time it was all fine. "
