"Beautiful place to stay, clean and staff are very helpful .
We enjoyed our stay and we hope to be back again! :)
Thanks to Mercure and their staff for making our trip memorable. "
"Hotel located up in the mountains. You will definitely need a car to get to this location. Be sure to check booking whether the room has a bathroom or not. They have the communal bathroom with hot baths which is located on the ground floor. They charge per person so you may as well book a second room which would cost as much. Breakfast provided is good. Very friendly staff. Lots of things to do like golf, badminton, table tennis etc at extra cost. Must book for ea h activity."
"Ofuto is good & shooting . They have shuttle services, but difficult get to by foot, but if you know it beforehand, it was sort of a resort above the town of Dazaifu."
"Perfect place to stay if you want to relax and recharge. Buildings are beautiful, staff were welcoming and kind, and there's so much to explore in the area. Would recommend for anyone who wants a unique stay experience."
"Very restful and peaceful stay. Will gladly book another stay in the future. Staff was very polite and friendly as well as helpful. Location is convenient. Everything I needed was in walking distance."
"Simple place for a night stay after shopping at The Outlets Kitakyushu. its an old hotel but the room is decently clean and it comes with free parking. the service from the staff is really good for my stay"
"Very helpful and supportive to change my room into a non-smoking twin-bed room from the other style. Economic room rate and great dinner site (Izakaya). One problem was to reserve a taxi from another town back to the hotel in the evening (This is not the hotel's problem but the area's one)"
"Stayed for a couple of weeks whilst visiting friends and family in the area. Exterior of the hotel is impressive and the free parking is a good bonus. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from Shin-Iizuka station and there are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby.
The interior of the hotel is dated and I suspect it hasn't been updated since the hotel was built in the late 80's or early 90's. The room was spacious but there was limited control of the room temperature (central air - low,...
"The hotel was good, has cafe/bakery for food. Alot of smoke smell from other guests.
Bathroom for me had a step up and high tub, hard to use with hip injury.
Towel kit bag every day, built up so many kits, didnt need.
Fridge was good to have.
Hard bed, weighted blanket and hard pillows. Sometimes hard to sleep.
Overall, its exceptional. Maybe should have upgraded to better room."

"Everything 5 stars, booked Club Room came with free champagne and chocolates plus use of jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and ice pool included. Enjoyed eating breakfast in Cambord French restaurant on the 28 floor. Food and service was excellent you hardly see 8 utensils on the right side of your water glass. I ordered Western option came with seafood Benedict plus 9 other small items this was included 👻"

"Toyoko inn is always a great stay. Rooms are clean and comfy. Convenient location, friendly staff, good breakfast included.
This hotel was very busy so breakfast was hard to find a seat. Bag lockers on the lobby were a great addition to store your bags before checkin (free).
It’s always been a good stay at their many locations. Great value for money
Highly recommend"

"Neat and spacious rooms at walkable distance from train station which is very convenient. View of the bay from the room was beautiful. Only suggestion would be to add more options for breakfast. Overall our 3 night stay was very pleasant."
A verified traveller stayed at Comfort Hotel Kokura
"Huge rooms with beautiful views and an onsite Japanese garden super close to the monorail station connecting to the JR Kokura train station and other destinations. The hotel was a bit dated but clean. The retro feel of the rooms may be a selling point to those who like that however. "
A verified traveller stayed at Art Hotel KOKURA New Tagawa
"Generally speaking, this hotel is very aged. For example, my Japanese toilet did not work. It flushed, but did not wash. The carpets are very worn, and entry is on the second floor, by stairs so carrying luggage is a chore. I did not have breakfast so no comment. Usual material supplied in the room was not (tooth brush, tooth paste, tea, etc.). Not recommended for seniors with mobility issues."
