The hotel is right next to one of Japan’s most amazing gardens and within 1.5 miles of all local attractions. It’s a charming place with its own mineral hot spring. The staff was terrific. The breakfast buffet had plenty of local dishes. We loved it and would stay again.

抜群の立地と癒しの温泉
初めて泊まりました。部屋の雰囲気がややロココ調で家内が気に入りました。緑の回廊、白鳥路を通って兼六園、金沢城公園に気軽に行けるのでコスパがいいです。また、少し汗をかいたら、琥珀色の温泉で疲れがすぐとれました。 近江市場も、東茶屋街も徒歩圏なので立地抜群です。また来たいと家内は言ってました。

Very close to the palace grounds. Restaurants were lacking in the area and well as the hotels restaurant that was booked solid with no accomodations or exceptions for hotel guests. The hotel breakfast buffet however was excellent. Uber to nearby restaurants is your best option. Call ahead first though to reserve a table. Very picturesque area.

Excellent Hotel and great staff. The breakfast buffet was the best I have ever had. When you turn left out of the property and take the Moat Garden walk to the Castle it is so peaceful and quiet. The JR bus is a couple blocks away and takes you to all the sightseeing spots and train station and is the included in your rail pass ,if you have it. My daughter already asked when are we coming back.

Fabulous stay, great location
It had an old European hotel feel where you hand in your room keys as you exit. The rooms were well appointed with a refrigerator. The all you can eat breakfast buffet was fantastic. The hotel was well situated in town for touring Kanazawa Castle, the Geisha District and the Omicho Market.I only wish we’d visited the Onsen earlier in our stay and more often.

Hotel is clean and very conveniently located next to the Kanazawa Castle. From the outside you see that the hotel is a little bit outdated. Inside the furniture is a bit old style as shown on the pictures, but everything is in very good condition. Enjoyed my stay and used the Onsen (japenese bath) every day. Can recommend staying in the hotel.

There are not many restaurants around the area. Hotel's restaurant is always fullly booked, not available even for guests. No microwave for self service. Guests might want have dining plan ready while staying at this hotel
