This property is accessible by either a 40-minute seaplane flight from Velana International Airport directly to the property or by a 35-minute domestic flight from Velana International Airport to Dhaalu Airport followed by a 15-minute speedboat ride to the property. The property will arrange transfers by seaplane or domestic flight and speedboat transfers. Seaplane flights operate only during daylight hours; domestic flights operate day and night. The staff was great and very accommodating. The rooms are nice and clean, they even have a Nespresso machine. We loved the breakfast at Zest, however, the food in the outlets was overpriced and average at best. There are plenty of activities, especially for kids, we loved the live entertainment at the bar at night. One thing we did not like was the smoking policy. Everywhere we went, people smoked, whether it was at the pools, the bar or the restaurant. Very annoying.

Kandima is one of the several resorts but we liked the family friendliness of this resort. Does this place have the activities that an all inclusive in the Carribean has, probably not but it is a still a quiet place to spend maybe 4-5 days. Not too many dining options. And ironically the restaurants are only open in the evenings. For the price + all inclusive option, expected a bit more. Hence giving only 4 stars.

Paraíso

A experiência foi incrível. O lugar é fantástico, o staff é muito atencioso e gentil, fizeram com que nos sentíssemos no paraíso. Ficamos no Aqua Villa e ela é bem confortável. A limpeza é muito boa e a vista é sem palavras. Até tivemos tubarões de coral e outras espécies bem à nossa porta. O resort é excelente e tem muitas atividades. Fomos para a nossa lua-de-mel e com certeza escolheríamos o Kandima novamente!

I think that Kandima Resort is a perfect destination for a week holiday. We experienced how really the Maldivians live and how much they are connect with forrest and sea.
