Only Positive: Location was close to Rivermarket area which made it easy to walk to nearby restaurants.
Negative: Each day, parking was really hard to find anywhere on the street. We often had to park the next block over. Lockbox to access building was jammed, which caused us to have to wait outside 20 minutes before I heard back with instructions on how to override it so we could enter. (The next day I saw a couple outside dealing with the same issue trying to get in). There was a nauseously strong deodorizer smell in the lobby area. Loft itself looked cute, but dishwasher had not been emptied, beds are very uncomfortable. Walls are very thin. There was a loud party next door which lasted way past 12:00AM. We finally called the police.
Wi-fi and TV did not work during our entire stay. I was relying on the wi-fi especially. I contacted the host (who was probably a management company based on the odd way they responded) and they assured me someone would be “right out to fix it”. I never heard back and when I reached out again I was assured I would get a discount for the inconvenience (since wi-fi access was on the listing).
It’s been 2 weeks since our stay, and I still have not received a partial refund nor been contacted by the host. I have been communicating with Vrbo customer service who assured me that I would get a refund, but I still have not received anything.
Overall stay was frustrating, but it could have been so much better with proper management.
