Nice place, I would stay again if in the area. Surrounded by properties that need work but no concern in walking around. Nice restaurant on corner, Rock Hill Grille. Breakfast at hotel, very good! Room very nice and different, staff over the top, very helpful and pleasant. Shout out to Claude, Andrew and Jerome!

We checked in for our reservation during late night hours and the staff was super accommodating. Valet was still available at nearly 2am! The hotel was very clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. The location was great - walking distance to the Power & Light District and a short Uber ride to other attractions in downtown KC. Our only issue was the noise. Our room was on the first floor and we could clearly hear noise from the room next door as well as outside noise in the early hours of the morning. This isn’t the fault of the hotel staff but perhaps the design of the building. Despite this issue, however; we will definitely stay again.

Only thing was how they charged my debit card for incidentals $200 and then I have to wait for 7-10 days to get it back. I travel often and never had that happen. Sure they hold your number for after checking out of anything happened. But to take my $200 before the stay even ended is not ok.

We asked a simple question to clarify the street parking sign and the gentlemen at the desk was very curt indicating that they were only responsible for valet. Which I understood but he wouldn’t answer the question.

Overall great experience. Hotel is clean and has a beautiful aesthetic. Close to TONS restaurants and bars of various varieties. Valet service was great and quick when car requested. However, valet is an additional cost and there is limited parking nearby. And none at no cost that I saw. Staff was friendly, however there was no staff at the front desk overnight. I waited for quite some time and politely shouted towards the area behind the front with no luck. Didn’t try the bar or restaurant in the hotel but atmosphere seemed great besides being open to the the main hotel lobby. Overall good experience!! Would stay there again.

The was a great place to stay. The neighborhood is still up and coming so even though it is a short walk from the Power and Light District the area around the hotel still seems a little iffy but safe. Don't let that distract you however, because the experience was five star with a friendly and helpful staff.
