"This property needs a lot of maintenance. The carpets were terrible, all worn and bubbling, it felt like there was no underlay underneath the carpet. There was paint peeling from the walls and the whole place needs a good clean and repainting. The unit next door had nice floor boards and was much nicer. The soap dispensers in the showers are tacky. The kitchen was dirty, the cupboards needed wiping and the glass ware dirty. There was only one wine glass in the cupboard. The only good thing...

"We had a lovely Christmas visiting our family. The house was perfect with plenty for our family of 5 and a kitchen for preparing food to take to lunch and a large dining table to have a meal with friends. It was lovely and cool in the heat and the evenings were peaceful watching the birds on the lake and amazing sunset views. The kids loved the park at the end of the court. "

"Couldn't get any communication from Will, found key in the letterbox but we could not stay there, absolutely disgusting condition, clothes everywhere, mold growing in pots, toothbrushes, used unwashed linen, beds unmade, basically crap everywhere. We could not stay one night in this property, had to book a motel elsewhere. "

"The property is lovely- very clean and the furnishings are tasteful and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped so you just need to bring food The atmosphere is all about relaxing and enjoying the countryside. We were 4 adults and 3 grandchildren under 8. There was plenty to keep the kids happy with games and books as well as the large enclosed yard with trees, cows nearby and a swing! All in all our 3 nights were so much fun"

"Overall the house was satisfying. Only the price was a bit expensive. It was stated maximum of 12 person sleeps. We have paid the house base on what have been stated online. When i declare that we will be 11+1 infant, there were additional $800++ extra to pay. I have contacted the host & he said the price is based on how many people were staying. So im a bit confused as it was stated for 12person stay. I thought that the price was based on per house per stay but it based on per person per stay."

"Not too far from Melbourne, but it felt like a million miles away! A great cottage, surrounded by paddocks and hills. Plentiful birdlife, which you could watch from the verandah that surrounds the house, or as you go on a casual stroll across the property. A large, extremely comfy bed. House has all the necessary modcons, but it feels like home."

"Our booking for this property was made in February 2024, on the morning of our check in after attempting to find out where to collect our key, we were notified that this property was double booked. We had soccer competitions this weekend and everything Shepparton was booked out. No notification in advance, no email and no call. Absolutely terrible!"

"I’ve been visiting Shepparton Holiday Village for many years, and it’s great to see the improvements being made to the cabins. However, I was disappointed to see the removal of the jumping pillow, as it was always a hit with the kids. They did get a bit bored at times without it. That said, I still highly recommend the property—it's peaceful, well-maintained, and conveniently close to the shops."
