"We found this place by chance and were glad we did. It was lovely! Our room was very spacious and there was a common kitchen for cooking which we took advantage of as there was a grocery store close by (short drive but would have been walkable). Lots of character. "Check in was easy. Some sloped ceilings were pointed out. Bathroom in jr. suite was the best we encountered of 3 stays in Denmark. Suite was roomy and comfortable. Enjoyed dinner at restaurant one night and drinks another. Food was excellent and portions were large. Only one vegetarian option or we would have dined there second night. Breakfast was a treat. "No one at the reception when er arrived at 18:00. No sheets, no towels at the appartment. The swimming pool was closed for guest though straff members still were still swinging around. The straff members didn’t make any effords to try to conversate in English, Skandinavian or anu other of the western european languages. The didn’t seem to care at us at all. The surroundings were great and the conditions were all tights. Om dau time the straff was friendly and polite."

"This hotel says it is 4 star hotel. I would definitely not agree. The location is beautiful nature area near the water but the property is in serious need of attention. The immense amount of cobwebs in the pergola covered walking areas and dead vegetation in the gardens was frankly depressing and creepy. The carpet was in need of replacement 20 years ago easily. No A/C in Denmark is normal but what I don't understand is, if you KNOW everyone will have to open the windows, why wouldn't they have...

"The lodging was fine. But we had a situation upon arrival that was a bit uncomfortable as no one was available to receive us. Hence, this is more of a criticism of the platform hotels.com because we received an email that said the booking is confirmed and only much further down the email in small print did it notify that we needed to contact the property 24 hours in advance to make arrangements for access to property.
