"One of the most memorable views from a hotel room I’ve ever had the privilege to experience. The view from the terrace is unmatched both day and night, assuming you have a clear sky for star gazing. The room itself was comfortable but quite tired. Lots of scuffs, wear and tear. Clearly it has been much loved for many years but is in need of a minor face lift. That said, it was perfectly clean and didn’t detract front the stay. It would take a lot more to make me regret booking a room with that...

"We chose a mountain view room & had a wonderful view of the mountains. Nigel was great, he gave us good advice & was fun to talk to. Location was good - a short walk to Katoomba main street. The hotel had an outdoor veranda where you could have a drink & take in the amazing views."

"Sipha and John are excellent hosts, Katoomba Manor is luxury away from the stress of the city. The total atmosphere is warm and relaxing and the hosts are gracious friendly and very accommodating. The cooked breakfast is delicious and filling. We have no problems recommending a weekend stay here and will return again in the near future. 5 stars......."

"On the check-in day, I received a messsge advising which room was allocated to me and how to access it without contact. This worked perfectly. The room was neat and clean. The bathroom was clean and the hot water supply was great. Plenty of tea bags, milk and sugar and a kettle and microwave and bar fridge rounded out the kitchenette. The bed sheets and pillows were clean and inviting but I felt that the bed was a tad soft for me, maybe just my preference. Had a chat with the friendly...
