The staff at the Outrigger Kauai were very kind and helpful. The property was beautiful, clean and secluded. No other resorts or homes are near. There is a golf course and a small dirt bike track for kids about 2 minutes away. The resort has 3 restaurants, but we only ate there once because we were out enjoying the island the rest of the time. The Outrigger Kauai is on a beach where I watched gorgeous sunsets and sunrises, but there is no lifeguard so we went to other beaches to play in the water. If I had one complaint, it would be that the room door was very heavy and sometimes accidentally slammed. We just had to be extra careful when closing the door so we don’t disturb other guests. I will definitely stay there again.

We were welcomed with such graciousness: beautiful leis and cold ginger lemon drinks and refreshing towels and then escorted personally to our spacious and artistically decorated condo. Our first night at Timbers was magical with palm trees, flowering tropical plants and lighted tiki torches. Everything is first class: the food, the service, the beautiful surroundings.

The facility, location and staff are great. A really enjoyable resort to stay. Would return. Only disappointment is that some of the prices for meals, like the breakfast buffet, are unjustifiable and have the flavour of price gouging.
