The Ultimate Oceanfront Penthouse - 'Hale No Ka Oi'

There's nothing else like it! Some will say it’s 'awesome', others have called it 'amazing', the Hawaiians would say 'no ka ‘oi' (the best).

Hale No Ka ’Oi is simply the best home away from home you will find on Molokai and perhaps anywhere in the Hawaiian Islands. This is a top floor suite with stunning views over the ocean to the island of Lanai. This is a heavenly, restful retreat for the mind and body. The ideal central location of this condo is convenient, allowing you to avoid those long 45 minute trips to the east or west ends of the island.

Just a short drive from the airport and only minutes into town. The perfect central location on Molokai if you want to enjoy the white sand beaches of the west end or the lush, rugged east end.

An oasis of luxury awaits you with the blending of rich, Brazilian cherry and gleaming marble floors. The bathroom is almost sinful with its oversized, dual head, marble and glass shower and double sinks. The cherry kitchen is exquisite with granite counter tops and premium stainless steel appliances and equipped to please even the most discriminating chef.

Everything inside is absolute 'top notch', including the finest linens, house wares, electronics and European leather furnishings. This is not one of those condos that still sports 20+ year-old rattan furniture.
This is the 'Ultimate In Accommodations'.

The Master bedroom features a Cal King bed with direct access to the bath. The large loft bedroom features a Queen bed, leather loveseat and absolute privacy. The custom engineered, stainless steel, spiral staircase is a work of art by a German craftsman, Josef Linzen. Whether you are two, three or four, you will love this place. The property is impeccably maintained and there is a large oceanfront pool. There are BBQ grills for your fresh fish or your favorite steak.

Molokai Shores is a great centrally located facility with a pool and a barbecue area that was a great place to meet other people. The condo was very well equipped and worked well for two couples. A big shout out to Chad for working with us to help with our individual needs.

Perfect place for Molokai
We were amazed at how nice this condo was. Straight on view over green grass, palm trees, and the ocean. The kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. It’s located mid-island so trips to either side of the island were brief and the main town is just a few minutes away. The communication with Chad was near instantaneous. Easy check in. Molokai is great place if you want to unwind, be away from hoards of tourists, but still enjoy Hawai’i.

Paradise
The location was wonderful. He accommodated us with everything we needed while we stayed there. You do have a 5 o’clock alarm clock that goes off every day A rooster will wake you up every morning at 5 o’clock lol. The Host even allowed us to stay a little past check out since our flight was delayed. In all it was a wonderful trip. We were definitely stay there again.

Great unit, modern look & amazing view!
Enjoyed ourselves at this unit while on Molokai. Unit looked to be recently renovated and had a nice modern look to it. Had everything we needed for use on our trip. Check in was easy and the view from the balcony was always a bonus. Great sunsets and listening to the water just a very short distance away. Great communications with the manager or owner and i wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Thanks!

Lovely location and condo
We really enjoyed our stay. The location is right in town and an easy drive to everywhere we went. The condo is clean and we enjoyed the shuffleboard, pool and mini golf on the beautiful grounds. The host is great and provides everything you may need in the condo to get you started. He also provided great recommendations for groceries, etc. Molokai is beautiful and we highly recommend hiking in Waimea Valley to the waterfall. Our favorite beaches were Murphy beach and Kepuhi beach. The Kalaupapa lookout is beautiful and we enjoyed making leis at the Plumeria farm.

Tranquil & authentic
It was peaceful and really gave us the true experience of Hawaii. If you can’t handle the heat, probably not where you want to go as there is no air conditioning. I was fine with no air conditioning. There are plenty of fans to accommodate and circulate air. The pool was nice to dip in and cool off. It was the perfect romantic getaway for my husband and myself.

Lovely Stay on an Interesting Island! !!
The place is immaculate. Very lovely condo with great finishes and furnishings. The grounds are equally splendid!! Ask Chad for some of his favorites as they will not disappoint. We really enjoyed the Lanai, the view, and just doing nothing other than soaking up sun. Keep in mind that most places on Molokai do not have air conditioning and rely on the tradewinds to cool. Chad’s place was really nice with a compliment of fans to accompany the breezes. Really appreciated the extent Chad and his local property manager accommodated our needs. Keep in mind this is Moloakai - so you will no find any ABC stores here. Or any chains at alll. This is “local” Hawaii — and if you’re considering trying it, it’d highly suggest you do so. There are two solid groceries, a pharmacy, gas stations, and a number of eateries. The island is also small, so if you rent a Jeep from Alamo (the only option) plan to drive the entire island. A++ in my book.

Wonderful location- some unexpected issues
This is a lovely place on the water - but two issues were real. One is that it is right next to a hostile neighbor who has a sign on his door that has a picture on the door of a pair of eyes that says they are " watching you" and you should use your "f##ing mask" ( this greeted us as we were climbing up the three flights). And also the upper bedroom is so warm that we considered it unusable so we were in the lower bedroom which was cool and comfortable. The upper bedroom also has a winding staircase down to the only bedroom- something we didn't want to try in the middle of the night. But good points- quiet place, pool was never crowded- gorgeous location right before the water- easy parking. So I give it a very good- and there are not , I should mention, many good places to rent on the island. "But if you are there for getaway quiet and a beautiful view and an untouristed island, this might be for you.

Great find in Molokai
Nicely renovated condo in Kaunakakai, HI. The condo is situated just off the main highway about 1-2 miles south of the town of Kaunakakai in a condo complex. This is 3rd floor (top) unit with a loft. The kitchen/living area is small, but good for two people - four (adults) was a little tight, but doable. Kitchen was well stocked with all the things you would need. We cooked in every night and found it great. The loft is very roomy with a queen bed and lots of fans for the warm/humid nights. The balcony looks out over the grounds and ocean -beautiful. The bedroom is at the back of the unit, and you have to go through the bathroom to get there (strange, and the only downside to this unit as far as I am concerned - well....other than the chickens making themselves known just before sunrise every morning:)). There is not a lot of nicely renovated units around, so this is a great find. Be aware that things are very expensive here. Milk was about $9/gallon. Gas $5.10/gallon. Hawaii is expensive in general due to having to ship most everything in, but Molokai especially. The people are kind. Some great hiking if it is dry. Beaches on most of the island are not the nicest sand - gravelly. The west end beaches are better sand, but ocean more crashing than waving (this time of year).

Relaxing, full amenity, stunning property
This rental is a beautiful home away from home. It’s just as described and shown in the pictures. Definitely one of the nicest I’ve stayed at on Molokai! Fully furnished with just about everything you need! Nice neighbors and beautiful view on the south shore of molokai looking towards Maui. The property owner is super communicative and made things easy. It was a pleasure.
