Ideal location for usj, staff are great, clean rooms and great amenities. Breakfast was chaos, very busy and quantity rather than quality but did not bother us as location couldn’t be any better for visiting usj. Would definitely come back!

Excellent stay! We stayed there with my family of six. The room was spacious, there was a bed for each of us. The hotel provided toiletries, pajamas, slippers. You can also order breakfast for the next day if you’d like. There a kids area and a gym. Communication was excellent. Property was walkable to Gion, Nishiki market, close cafes, dining, and shops. Only downside was that the laundry was a coin laundry, which would’ve been fine except it took a couple turns to dry the clothes. Wash was $4cad and dry is $1cad. Would 100% stay there again.

This is the best hotel in Kyoto. The property is very beautiful and relaxing. The room is very spacious, the amenities top notch, the tub is amazing. The breakfast is one of the best I’ve ever had. Traditional Japanese breakfast with also western dishes. The customer service is the best. Everyone was so warm and welcoming and helped us with directions and recommendations and even helped us ship our luggage to our next hotel.

We loved the location and the setting of this Mimaru. This Mimaru has a free drink station and lobby area with tables and mats. They also had a hair straightener/curler available for rent. The rooms had ample space and was a great set up. It was close to shops and the station as well as lots of eateries. Right in Namba and a 5 minute walk to Dotonbori.
