"Let me just start by saying that I generally don't write anything other than 5-star reviews. We booked a long time ago so unfortunately hadn't seen the recent bad bed assessment. I slept in the main bedroom for 3 nights and now need to go and have my back fixed by a professional, I'm in that much pain. Both mattresses are so bad, I'm not sure what further negative reviews the owners are waiting on before they replace them. If you like a firm bed, I recommend against booking this property until...

"Kiara was represented accurately and worked perfectly for our group of 11 friends. It is centrally located, well equipped and appointed. We would have loved to have spent more time on the beautiful deck but the weather was not kind. Regardless the house allowed us plenty of living room inside and a queen bedroom for each couple with a bunk room as well. The drive is quite steep as others have noted but manageable and there was room to park on the road."

"We had a very happy stay in Apollo Bay and the view was amazing. The checkin staff were extremely helpful. The back step was a bit difficult getting to the back toilet but I'm sure it's a work in progress.The house was very comfortable and tastefully decorated decorated.staystaystayated"

"We stayed at Blue Horizon for 2 nights with another couple. The check in was great as they left a key at the house and we didn’t have to get to the office by 4:30. The first challenge was driving up a steep, gravel driveway. 3 of us got out to lighten the weight and that helped. "Negative = House has no name 'Bertram' or number on it? Both rear doors had no keys? however staff rectified this promptly. Cars can be driven to rear of house and easily unloaded to upstairs kitchen and bedrooms. We understand its pet friendly but carpets were filthy and should be floorboards or tiles throughout (same as kitchen & dining areas) or carpets cleaned regularly. We were told further renovations/improvements are happening. House was very clean in and out but has a musty smell and...
