The list of things that were bad with this place is long but some were very filthy floors( looks like they hadn'tmopped for a year, our socks and slippers were black), broken toilet-my hubby wound up fixing it because the staff made it worse), shower knob was stuck and worked very hard, empty poop stations(no bags) for entire 8 night stay, some very rude staff, dirty microwave, scratchy sheets & pillow cases, most of staff couldn't speak English, the two things that were good about was the restaurant inside the hotel was excellent food and service and the lobby had nice big gas fireplaces. It was suppose to be a pet friendly hotel but they treated us like crap just because we had an ESA Yorkie, tells us not suppose to leave him in the room but yet not allowed to bring him to the cafeteria with us, very ironic! One of the front desk girls was usually sleeping behind the desk or on her cell phone but has the nerve to threaten to call the cops on us and put us on a DNR list just because we asked for some compensation for all the inconveniences or at least a discounted rate for an additional night. She absolutely doesn't belong in customer service, very rude! Also couldn't resolve it through general manager because they don't work Friday, Saturday or Sunday!!

I was very disappointed in the customer service at the front desk. Very rude customer service that did not follow through on their job. Paid and confirmed reservation days prior to check in to a room that was not what I had booked. No explanation and no accommodations or compensation even offered. Also was told we would be moved and contacted and never heard from the front desk. no manager or owner available on weekends to even speak too. Very unprofessional from one business owner to another and I will definitely make sure to make other aware of this

Rooms were not cleaned in the time we were there. Had to ask for extra towels. Put in an area with the dogs, they barked continuously. Should be a section completely separte or you should be asked preference as a courtesy.

The pro-Trump anti-Kamala sign was a turn off, but cross the state line from Vermont into New Hampshire and suddenly you're in MAGA country so I guess it's not surprising. Room was about as you'd expect for a BW, except the mattress was uncomfortable due to being oddly tilted down toward the head of the bed. We slept with our heads at the foot of the bed which worked out ok. The room was adequate and the breakfast area was nice.
