Spotlessly clean, attentive and friendly staff, great accommodation and pools, little outdoor cinema showing English films each evening and then there is the food. "Balhambra Suites is located in a great location near the harbor, Tavernas,stores and shopping, The hotel is older but well maintained, Most rooms are on the second floor with no elevator, There are no screens on the windows or balcony doors. However the cost of the room and location makes up for a few minor negatives."

"I like this property it's good enough, it's right on the water right on the main drag where you go to eat. However, do not let them put you on the first floor that doesn't have an elevator. The carpet in the entire building really smells disgusting and sometimes the smell comes into your room. The air vent from your bathroom on the first floor rooms, 100-109 faces an alleyway and you can smell cigarette smoke and cat pee waft in. The bed mattress is excellent, super soft. "We only stayed here one nigth to break our stay before traveling to the other side of Kefalonia. It was perfect, just what we were looking for. Rooms are very nice, the place is cool looking, the staff very friendly and the restaurant was very good. The view was relaxing as well. Also there were a few charming little restaurants close by. "
