"Do not do business with this hotel. This hotel cancelled my reservation without notifying me before my stay. They overbooked the entire hotel and had no more rooms left even after having a booking confirmation number and payment. They also wouldn't refund me even after I wasn't able to stay there. It took 3 weeks to get my money back after many calls with them. I wouldn't ever stay here. There is however a bungalow house nearby that I'd absolutely recommend instead of this hotel. "

"Entgegen den Photos bei hotels.com sieht die Realität anders aus. Protziges Eingangsportal und dann kleine abgenutzte Zimmer, Schimmel in der Dusche, Rost in den Ecken, abgenudelter Badvorleger, man weiß nicht ob der Teppichboden lebt... Am Empfang dauerte es fast eine halbe Stunde bis die Buchung gefunden wurde, das erste Zimmer in das ich ziehen sollte war noch nicht hergerichtet (19 Uhr...). Kein Stuhl oder Tisch auf dem Balkon. "I went with my wife and four year old daughter. 6km small Road to the hotel is horrible. Need a high clearance vehicle. My honda fit nearly escaped any damages. Otherwise the stay was superb. Location is unique.rooms were great. Food was ok,slightly more expensive than similar class hotels,may be because of the location, wifi is terrible.my Dialog mobile had moderate level of signals,but no 3G. Any way,I actually staying unplugged.There is a nearby waterfall with clear water.its an unique...

"Stayed at Adventure Base Camp for a day of river rafting which was awesome. Great facility for the area. AC worked really well. Only issues are that the lower rooms in our building had some mold on the wall (but understandable due to the high humidity in the area) and the beds were a bit uncomfortable."

"The Summit was absolutely outstanding. Pradeep and the rest of the staff were welcoming and bent over backwards to make our stay exceptional, and the property itself is simply one of a kind. It can be slightly challenging to find a Pick Me ride willing to go up the mountain, but there again the staff had us covered and arranged a tuk driver in under 10 mins. My only complaint is I only booked one night and didn’t stay longer. If you're visiting Kandy, but want a peaceful place to retreat and overlook the city at night, do yourself a favore and visit The Summit, I know I will be back."

Wish we had stayed longer…….

"My wife and I stayed for 2 nights. We can’t recommend this home too much. It certainly felt like we were at home. The room was so clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom spotless. Our room was well appointed, entered via its own garden. We had special views across the whole valley. We hooked up to the Wi-Fi and looked for things to do but our host knew all the good things to do, he even organized a TukTuk tour with a local guide. Our tour was fantastic and such a great price. We took breakfast had delicious home cooked roti with coconut salad and chutney along with eggs and fruit. On the first night we ventured into the city for dinner and on the second night we stayed local. Both restaurants were good. The local shops were terrific, selling local fresh food. We moved on to South but wished we had stayed longer."

Serene spot in Kandy

"The hotel was clean and well furnished. We had a balcony room which had fabulous view of the river, a great place for watching nature around you. It was very peaceful. The pool area is good with separate pool for toddlers. This also overlooks the river. The staff were excellent. All polite and helpful which you find a lot in Sri Lanka. The restaurant was buffet style and food good quality. We had an excellent 2 nights in Kandy. Hotel situated short distance from Town centre, uphill. Just a short ride in tuk tuk."

"Loved the great views from the property and the very friendly staff. Location a bit out of the way and very difficult to drive to as quite steep narrow roads in places. Room we had was just average nothing bad just nothing to make me think yeah that was a nice room."
