"Fantastic property for a family holiday. The apartment was huge and had everything you need and want. The outdoor space is expansive and takes advantage of the incredible views. The facilities are clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful too. The walk up from town and to the apartment is definitely challenging but we were well aware of that. It’s the price you pay for the absolutely amazing views. We didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back. "

"I stayed here twice and the units are clean, comfortable, and basic. My only note is that unit 17 seems to be next to some sort of machinery that runs intermittently, and shakes the entire unit at all hours of the day. I used earplugs and was able to sleep, but definitely a bit odd. Otherwise, this place is great - staff is friendly, there are laundry facilities, ample parking, + close to everything you need in town."

"We had a great 9 night stay in a budget cabin. It was quiet and comfortable and they cleaned after 7 days. It's about a 25min walk to town, or there is a 50c bus that picks up not far from the holiday park. The staff was friendly and they can help book tours. The only downside isnthat one of our burners on the stove was broken and the ac, while it worked, the flap that opens to let air out was also broken. With some minor repairs, this would be a great property, but even with the small issues we...

Josephine was friendly and helpfull and went out of her way to help our daughter retrieve her bracelet from the pool. "No air conditioning in the bedrooms only the living area. Toilet floor needs a really good scrub as smells like a men’s urinal. We had a 6 night stay and only had 2 rolls of toilet paper, 2 dishwasher & 2 dish liquid sachets. No spray to clean the bench down. Apartment was very spacious, comfortable lounge chairs and very comfortable beds. Loved the local Curlews hanging around outside. "

"Palm Bay Resort, located in the stunning Whitsundays on Long Island, offers surreal views and a peaceful atmosphere. I recently spent 7 days there with my son and loved the convenient location, just a 15-minute water taxi ride from Airlie Beach. While the serene setting is perfect for relaxation, the lack of activities on the island made it less engaging for my active teenager. The food was excellent, but I was disappointed that housekeeping wasn’t done daily. This resort has great potential to become a top destination if the villas were refurbished and more activities were introduced to enhance the guest experience."
