"First room we checked into hadn't been cleaned yet but the woman at the front desk immediately had us transferred to another room. Everything was clean and smelled nice. Bed was fairly comfortable for a hotel. "

"Lovely place on the lake!The views were amazing, plenty of places to sit and watch the sunset. The house was lacking for nothing. There were wonderful instructions on how to use everything I can’t wait to come back."

"The home was beautiful, clean, and had a lot to offer—especially the inground pool, which was a great bonus and definitely added to the enjoyment of our stay. The space was comfortable and well-maintained, and we appreciated the overall setup.That said, this would have easily been a 5-star stay if there had been a second shower or bathtub. With multiple guests, having only one option for personal hygiene was a bit inconvenient. Also, while we enjoyed the amenities, the price felt slightly higher than expected for what was offered.Overall, we had a great time and would consider staying again, especially if a second bathroom is added in the future (entire house available, master bedroom is not available for use)!"

"Unfamiliar with the area but needed to find a place to stay for a weekend work/play trip in NE Houston. We were able to book with very short notice. More than enough space for the two of us and the house was spotless. The front of the house is french doors and lots of windows that face the lake and the lakefront houses. The porch is great with wrought iron patio set. Enjoyed sitting out there listening to the frogs! Close to the Atascosita golf course too. Very nice experience."

"The A/C did not work despite host response to a previous review stating that the A/C was fixed. The temperature inside the house was in the 80s during the day and at night the temperature did not get below 79. VRBO customer service and myself spent over 5 hours trying to contact the host upon check only to get a message asking me to “set the thermostat to a lower temperature.” As if I hadn’t already tried that. After responding to the host I did not receive any response until the next day. My 2 year old and 6 month old struggled to get any sleep all night long and their skin was flushed from not being able to cool down. The weather forecast showed temperatures only getting hotter over the next couple days so we left after only staying 1 of the 3 days. We could not sit around and wait for someone to come “fix” the A/C again. In addition to the A/C not working, there are only 3 bedrooms, not 4 like the listing says. The outside of the house looks like it has been neglected/abandoned for many months. Many areas the grass was over 2 feet tall and there was a downed tree limb that has clearly been there a while. There were no clean towels in the house only a pile of wet and smelly towels in the dryer. Very long response times when contacting host. I HIGHLY advise against this place even if the host says the A/C is “fixed”. Too many issues."

"Dianne was the best!!! I travel with my company and 3 weeks out of the month I will be staying with Best Western because of her. My first trip there was an issue with the plumbing but, management and the maid service was so very attentive and helpful. I was upgraded and everything went smoothly the rest of the weekend. I will be staying at this location EVERY TIME I come to Dayton Texas!! Great job guys!!!"

"Me and my family went to celebrate my brother graduating high school and we had a blast! The house is beautiful! And james is very good at answering fast when having any questions! Me and my family will be 100% staying at this property again"
