"For the price I’m very happy with the hotel room we got. It was spacious, lots of natural light coming in, comfy chairs and beds, many mirrors, bathroom was clean and could bathe relaxed. Only downfall was the carpet in the room definitely needs a better deep clean. Service was good. The male staff member at the desk seemed much more accommodating and pleasant compared to the female staff member. She wasn’t horrible at all! Just gave us both uncomfortable vibes as if we were doing something...

"The setting is a lovely village green, a great place to try out the various ales on tap. The rooms are surprisingly spacious and well equipped. Although we found the beds uncomfortable. Breakfast is recommended especially at £7.50 per head, per morning (if you pay upfront). Although there are items missing that were on the online menu, everyone including me kept asking for the pancakes! Would highly recommend, as long as you can stomach the usual noise associated with a pub and unsupportive...

"This is a charming hotel. We were on the third floor in an alcove room. The free breakfast is at their sister restaurant across the street, The Penny Farthing, which was cute and delicious. We were happy with just about everything except that our toilet was leaking across the floor and one of the showers I took was cold. We later found out that there was a problem with the hot water and that they fixed it. The location was great for shopping and walking along the main street in Cowbridge. "
