Beautiful inside
Very convenient Hotel in the middle of town, interior very clean and modern, The bed and bathroom rooms were large and clean. Very nice restaurant. Mary there was very friendly and could not do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Would recommend this hotel when going to Kenmare.

Nice hotel, conveniently located in town.
Had a great breakfast buffet. Very well located in town, very easy to access the sights of Kenmare. There was no wifi access at the back of the hotel. There is a small lounge area (a couch on the stair landing) where I could check emails, get maps for the upcoming day's travels, etc.

Wonderfully central but over a loud pub
Nice place, fantastic staff. It is over a pub and the busiest street in Kenmare so it can be very, very loud. Also, parking can be a problem if you do not time your arrival well. Having said that, the staff are wonderful and the location is very convenient, the place is reasonably priced and the rooms are comfortable. If you want a quieter room, make sure to ask for one in the back (#s 6-10). We'd go back there with these provisos.

Great place to stay
Could be even better with tea / Coffee making facilities in room. It was the best hotel breakfast of our trip - great choice of quality cereals and fruit as well as the cooked breakfast.

Cream of the crop
Stayed in this hotel for one night on business and couldn't have been in a nicer spot. The staff were amazing. Was going out for a run in the evening and staff came out to the door and directed me where to go, that evening I was in the bar and was talking to the bar man about where i was headed next and he thought that breakfast starting at 8 would cut it fine for me, so he rang the girl that was doing the breakfast and she kindly said she would have it for me at 7.45. the next morning when i went down i was met by a lovely welcome and had everything ready for me so i could get away quickly after breakfast, A fantastic place to stay and couldn't say enough about it

B&B mit netten Zimmern mitten in Kenmare
1 Nacht vor unserer Ring of Kerry Tour. Geräumiges, sauberes Zimmer, auch für Kinder sehr geeignet. Pub gleich im Haus (bzw besteht die Hauptstraße im Wesentlichen aus B&B&Pubs). Sensationelles Frühstück !!!! Superfreudliches Personal. Jederzeit und unbedingt wieder. (Allerdings kein Aufzug)

Centre of town - close to all sights
I would highly recommend this hotel. It was absolutely spotlessly clean. Rooms were very comfortable and large. Bathroom also large and clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful, especially the waitress for breakfast. We got a lovely warm welcome when we arrived down for breakfast and the waitress was so attentive and efficient. The breakfast was beautiful - it took me about 10 minutes to decide what to get, there was such a variety on the menu! Hotel is right in the centre of town and can walk to all the lovely pubs and restuarants. Great base for travelling.

Close to theatre in which I was performing
My stay couldn't have been better Mary is delightful, genuinely friendly. Food delicious and served cleanly and professionally on wonderfully LARGE pristine white plates. All staff very professional and busy, keeping everything clean and running like clockwork. Great atmosphere in public area. Cleanliness exemplary in all areas I considered my stay to be good value for money when seen in the context of prices in this day and age. Would stay again and recommend it to family and friends as long as the price remains at present level.

Liked: Room comfort
Great Location but, Hotel Rooms Need Updating
Davitt's is in a great location in the center of Kenmare. We could walk to many fun restaurants, shops and pubs. There really is no "front desk"...you check in at a counter in the restaurant. The room was clean but, small and in need of an update. It took a lonnnnng time for the hot water to finally reach our room. Parking, though free, is very limited. The hotel restaurant has been redone and is very comfortable. Our breakfast was very good. The food was tasty and our server was very friendly and efficient.

Great place to stay
We loved Davitt's - the staff was great, the breakfast was amazing, and the location is right in town. There isn't much parking to speak of but we were able to find street parking without much trouble. There is no elevator though, so be prepared to pack your bags up the stairs. Overall this might have been our favorite place we stayed in Ireland - the rooms/restaurant were very clean and comfortable, and the lady who helped us with breakfast and checked us out could have been a tour guide, as she gave us all kinds of maps and info for places to see all over Ireland.

A Hidden Jewel
On our trip to Ireland, we stayed in a number of well rated hotels. Davitt's was the highlight of our trip. The room, although not pretentious, was extremely well appointed and maintained. The restaurant was terrific and provided nightly trad music. The staff was unbelievably welcoming and helpful, providing suggestions for our trip itinerary. The breakfasts were the best that we had in our three weeks in Ireland. Davitt's is outstanding value and should be a priority booking for anyone visiting Kenmare, the Ring of Kerry or the Beara Peninsula.

Great central B&B with parking
Great location and bonus to have car parking round the back. Good food and friendly staff. Room was spacious but unfortunately too high up for the wifi to reach! Overall good value and would recommend it to a friend
