My sister and I live far apart and chose this for our annual reunion. The bedrooms, bathroom, and common spaces are comfortably furnished and have all modern conveniences. Because it's part of (but detached from) a historic inn, the grounds are lovely and you have privacy but aren't isolated. All the attractions of Kennebunk and the coast are nearby, but it is not in the heart of tourist country. There is good coffee for the making. Our only suggestion would be to provide a few kitchen staples (salt, pepper, oil, vinegar) and add tea and maybe hot chocolate mix to the selection of hot beverages.
