We recently finished the lowest level of our home into this awesome private living space!

Orange Room*
Starting with finished concrete floors, a dining area with kitchen, (we do not have a built-in oven, but there is a toaster oven and microwave), counter top electric stove, apartment size refrigerator with top freezer, plenty of cabinets and counter space.

Large bathroom with dresser/mirror, shower and vanity.

Comes furnished with a comfy couch, lazy boy recliner, 55" flat screen tv (includes Directv Netflix HBO and you can hook up your laptop to the HDMI 2 input).

Sleeping arrangements start with the "pull down from the wall" Murphy bed (Queen size) sleeps two. Comfy couch will sleep one. Maximum accommodations: 3 guests.

Blueroom* We just added even more living space with the completion of our added master bedroom the "Blue room". If you need extra sleeping space or you just want to splurge a little more this is the Add-on for you. This beautifully furnished giant bedroom has a queen size bed with streaming tv on a roll around stand, ample seating space, giant wall tapestries, a door to outdoor seating amongst the trees for coffee on a hanging bench swing. All this can be added to your stay.
Maximum accommodations: 2 guests.


This space (The blue room*)will be locked off for those who just want the original (orange room*) for a lower price.

Private Key-pad door entry for safety and convenience.

Please note: To get to your space, this requires a bit of a hike down hill, with stepping stones. This unit may not be suitable for some older guests. It’s a hike down, then a hike back up the hill.

It is not disclosed in the description about the parking and the long steep hills with unleveled
Concrete blocks spaced to far apart. I am 77 with heart disease My husband 75 and has severe arthritis in legs and hips. I explained this to Virginia She said I would have no problem. I have been in touched with her and she said she would talk with her husband to see if they could Give me some of my money bay. I not heard her

Nice Place
It was a very nice place, clean and in the perfect little piece of nature. The only thing missing was laundry facilities but there is a very nice laundry mat right down the road. Was a perfect place to relax after hot days at the ballpark for a tournament. It was nice and cool and the little outside area is shaded. Loved our stay, great communication with the owners.

Son's basketball tournament in ATL
Remarkable location and very cozy and convenient. Online states 2 bedroom and when you arrive it is one and the other is locked and you have to pay extra for the other bedroom. I could not get in touch with property owner until after the 6th attempt (@9:00pm). She was very pleasant and extremely understanding with the information I gave her and ultimately assisted with adding the second bedroom at no charge. Overall, Satisfied.

Great Stay in a quiet secure neighborhood.
Had a great stay with a family of four. We did opt for the additional room which made it more than roomy enough for the four of us. The area is a quiet and well maintained neighborhood and we had zero issues with noise or other distractions. Parking is tight but that is spelled out in the listing and it is a walk down a hill to get to the unit so be prepared. It was not an issue for us. There are no laundry facilities on site and the closest laundromats are a wreck so if you need to do laundry you'll be inconvenienced. I missed the no laundry on the listing so not the hosts fault. It would be nice though to add that feature. While there is a kitchen there is no oven other than a toaster oven and there is no outside grill, an easy fix for the host, which limits your cooking options. All in all a great stay and we would stay again.

The overall apartment was a finished basement requiring 38 steps down and up a steep slope to access. There is no handrail! The apartment was clean by Vrbo standards. I have to say the mirrors and the glass pictures and the TV screen could all use a good cleaning. The kitchen lacked some necessary items, but I didn’t need them because I ate out the whole time. The owners were apparently there for the weekend, but were never visible. However, on Sunday morning around 11:30 AM, someone decided to take a Jacuzzi bath and the LOUD noise was quite disturbing. I owned a VRBO for 6 years and I stayed at several myself throughout the world. I gave this place a five out of 10 based upon its location, and it’s ability to access the apartment. I do hope the owners have a good insurance policy, because there was a 30 foot drop from the stairway into the gully beside the steppingstone walkway down to the apartment with no safety measures in place.

The owner asked what time we would arrive and I told her between 4:00 - 6:00. We arrived at 4:00 And the place was not ready. So we carried our stuff down the 2 sections of the hill that had about 20 “steps” each. The steps were concrete blocks, some are partially covered with grass and gravel and no handrail to hang onto if you lose your balance. Very dangerous, especially when you are carrying things up or down. So instead of changing clothes and cleaning up a little we had to meet friends as we were.

This listing is exactly what I needef for the weekend. I love the location, interior design, and the little extras. I appreciated the private entrance. Perfect for spending quality quiet time. Very comfortable beds. Everything for cooking. The grocery stores are les than 3 miles away. I would highly recommend this location. Bill and Kim were exceptional hosts.

Great view, nice and quiet!
Perfect spot for my weekend away ( I live in Tampa). Comfy bed, spotless room, and my dog LOVED the creek in the back! Good location. Not IN Atlanta, but close enough to everything I was looking for. My dog even found a ball left by a previous pup!

Sad, for no stay
Do to timing issues, we were not able to stay at the property. Time had run very short by the time we heard from the host that the room was available that same day. We were on the road and had to make sure we had a place to stay, being so late in the day we had made other accommodations. I called the host after receiving the message that the room was available and explained to her what we had to do. The host was most gracious, and said she understood completely. Before I was even able to ask, she said she would credit my credit card for the deposit. I can't say enough what a terrific person this host is, I sure wish we could have stayed with them. Instead we stayed at Quality Inn in Dalton Ga.. We were locked out of our room for about an hour before things got resolved, and our items and medications were in the room. The bed was the ABSOLUTE worst we have ever slept in. Horrible night trying to sleep, and you should have heard the lame excuse we were given, with no apology. I would sleep on a park bench rather then stay there again. This was our first time trying to use VRBO, sorry it didn't work out, we will try to get better at it for all of our next trips. We have not received a refund from VRBO as of yet and hopefully that will still happen soon, As for the host, I give them a 5 star rating and look forward to staying there in the future, very nice people.

Nice private, clean, good quality apartment
Cute studio apartment with plenty of space for the 4 of us. We love VRBO options instead of a motel room. Bill and Kim's studio apartment was very nicely decorated and plenty of the comforts of home, like a nice size fridge/freezer, stove top, toaster oven (no full oven but we didn't miss it), microwave, and plenty of supplies like aluminum foil, paper towels, ziplock bags, dish soap, etc. Plenty of dishes. The bathroom is very clean with plenty of of hot water, soap, shampoo, and conditioner for showers. Good quality furnishings. Clean and soft towels, linens, etc. It is a bit of a hike down some block steps (2 stores) but is a nice private space overlooking a wooded ravine with a flagstone patio and a couple folding chairs to borrow. The internet and cable TV worked well, and the TV is plenty large enough. This property met our needs for 2 nights, while we enjoyed the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta.
