We were not affected by Helene. So very thankful! Come visit us!! All in one washer dryer added 4/2024. New year round hot tub added February 11, 2024.
Stay at the Goose Branch Lake House & fish from your own dock only a few steps from the back porch. Catch catfish, largemouth bass, red eyes, blue gill etc. Beaver Lake is a trolling only lake so no large waves to disrupt your game. Canoe, 2 kayaks & 2 stand up paddleboards including life vests available to rent. Nice fire pit with Adirondack chairs for nighttime entertainment. Kamada charcoal grill off back porch.

This lake house is centrally located on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. 95% of the world's bourbon is made in Kentucky! Make this your bourbon trail headquarters to see more distilleries during your stay.

Goose Branch Lakehouse has 1 master bedroom with king bed, a bedroom with two full beds, one common area bedroom with 2 twin beds and 1 bath. This home sleeps 8 people. Bedrooms are on 2nd floor.

The lake is what makes this house extra special. There is absolutely nothing like walking from your back porch down to your dock with your fishing pole to fish. Enjoy watching the kayaks and boats meandering about on the water. Like watching wildlife? We have plenty of geese, deer, squirrels and birds of all colors. We have a canoe, 2 kayaks, and 2 stand up paddleboards including life vests for rent. You can launch from the back yard.

Wonderful Experience
This was my first time booking a trip with Vrbo and starting off with this house and host was a great first outing. The pics are totally accurate and the house was the perfect retreat for our family while we were exploring the Mammoth Cave area. The hosts Sherry and Todd are great and made sure we had an awesome visit. We're hoping to stay here again next year for a return visit.

Awesome Cabin On The Lake
This cabin was the perfect place to stay while we were on our 127 yard sale adventure. We spent most of our time on the back porch after a long day of shopping and it was so relaxing! Peaceful fishing weekend
Booked for a peaceful fishing weekend and got exactly what I needed. Quiet. Right on the lake. Lots of fish in the lake (though they’re smart… 😁). Very well kept and maintained, plenty of space and amenities.

Wonderful getaway in KY
Two tired teachers, two teenage girls, & a nine year old had the most relaxing & enjoyable stay! The lake house was beautiful! The scenery was heavenly! The host went above & beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The lake is literally in the back yard. Kayaking, fishing, bonfires…Complete peace!

Family Vacation
This place was perfect for our family vacation. Owners were super easy to communicate with and responded quickly to questions and concerns. Only issue was the barking dogs across the lake, that barked non-stop, day and night. They could only be heard from the master bedroom at night when sleeping, so that didn’t effect the kids at all.

Quiet lake cottage
The cottage was clean, quiet and nice. There was no washer and dryer, probably because of the small septic system. I couldn’t find any firewood for the firepit, make sure you bring your own. We did the bourbon trail, so only spent the evening on the back porch. Overall nice stay.

An excellent property. We enjoyed the accommodations, had some good games of cornhole on the most challenging set to date, and very Sherry was a great communicator happy to help with spot on recommendations. Only thing missing is a dishwasher, but we were 6 guys who had a great time, and survived without it.

Bourbon Trail Country Lake House
The Goose Branch Lake House was a great little place to fit our small group of four adults. We were down in the area visiting the Bourbon Trail. Most the the distilleries that we wanted to visit were within about a 35 to 45 minute drive of the house. The house was comfortable and clean. Sherry, the owner, was attentive and quick to respond when we arrived a little early. She also, reached out to share local events happening in the area. We definitely recommend this property!

Amazing 😍
We got there later than we anticipated but it was well worth it. When I walked in I felt at home. I grew up in the country as a child. I didn't want to leave to go back the the city limits. Everything was well thought out as as a host. We will be back in the fall but hopefully sooner.

Perfect Stay!
I was very happy with our stay at this property. A few friends and I rented this house for a Bachelor Party weekend, and it was exactly what we were hoping for. The property is absolutely on the lake, and the back porch is a great place to sit outside at this night and watch the sun fade out over the lake. The living and dining rooms have a large sectional and dining room table perfect for gatherings, and both bedrooms upstairs had comfortable beds and plenty of space as well. The road to get here is a little windy, but only a couple miles off the main road and would only be difficult if snow or ice is on the road. The entire area was quiet and peaceful since even though there were people fishing on the lake, there were no loud boats. The host was kind and accommodating and even left us a nice welcome gift. If visiting Kentucky again, I would definitely consider staying here again.
