"Everything is amazing in the hotel it is very suitable for families there is good service and great food, everywhere you go in the hotel the staff are very understanding and kind. "It was a nice time at Pela mare hotel, the ambience is lovely and quiet for a family relaxation. What is unique about the Property is the aerial view, the wonderful Greek culture and amazing staff. My stay was okay until my check out time and was slammed with an unplanned bill which was based on not passing information correctly. "We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Villa Gaia. The villa was clean and spacious with fantastic outside space. It was in a quiet, rural location however was still convenient for local restaurants, supermarkets and the beach and there were many things to do within an hour’s drive (including the airport). Zacharias was a generous and kind host. He insisted on meeting us at the villa despite us not arriving until after midnight. I would highly recommend a stay here."

"Quiet location at the end of a winding road. Perfect to relax away from everything. Close to small town (15 mins) that will service all your needs. House well equipt and the pool area is fabulous."

"My husband & I and two other couples stayed at Penelope Home for 5 nights. The home is located about halfway between the 2 airports on Crete. (About an hour each direction) We liked the central location and enjoyed hikes, caves, the beach and other activities. The suggestions for restaurants and bakeries by our host were spot on. The host also handled our transfers which was very much appreciated."

"Could not recommend this place more! We will definitely be going back. The staff was phenomenal, when we arrived we were greeted by a concierge who took our bags inside/to our rooms and made us a mimosa while we filled out our check in details. We did the half board so we got a buffet breakfast and dinner each night that had so many options and were very delicious! The front desk also made us a reservation for the el la carte dinner which was also free. The staff didn’t hesitate when we asked them to book us a taxi to check out city centre as well as booking an early taxi to get us to the port the morning we checked out, also supplying us with a box breakfast to go. Highly recommend this place! Absolutely loved every minute of our stay! "

Great Hotel outside of Heraklion

"This was a terrific hotel about 25 kilometers out of Heraklion. It was fine for us because we had a car and the driving easy. The hotel was walking distance down the hill Agia Pelagia which is a cute little beach town. We ate at the hotel restaurant one night and were pleasantly surprised at the overall quality of the dishes we had- way better than a hotel restaurant usually is. The staff was great and the breakfast buffet was very good. If you are planning a trip to Knossos and the Archeological Museum this is a good option. It was nice to get back to the quiet of an out of town hotel. The only downside is they are trying to hard to be kitschy which is totally unnecessary for such a quality property. We loved it all in all"
