Wonderful place to stay in Hill Country!

This is a fantastic property! Clean, comfortable, and peaceful! Our family of four had a great trip to the hill country, taking in different experiences and coming back to relax at the centrally located Avery House each day. Our kids enjoyed the beautiful property as much as we did! Thank you for creating and sharing this space.

The stay was amazing. The place was clean and everything you could want and more! The host was very accommodating and even turned on the lights for us because we showed up after dark! I would book this place again!!

Girls weekend

We arrived at the Avery House to escape the every day hustle of living the city life. It was the perfect cozy space with comfy beds and quiet atmosphere. The fire pit was an awesome area for conversation and relaxation. The only change we would have made is staying longer! Thank you for letting us stay!

Easy breezy in the Hill Country

Quiet and convenient

Taking our kids to summer camp in Hunt, so this was a great location for the weekend. House was clean and just as described. Kids appreciated the ladder game and we made smores at the fire pit.

Clean and comfortable

My friend and I came to Kerrville to have a birthday celebration. We really enjoyed our stay. The house was as expected. The beds were clean and very comfortable, which is so nice. We were greeted by 3 deer when we arrived, just munching some grass. It is close to town, but also has a remote feel. Would stay there again!

The Avery House

We went to Kerrville with the purpose of going to the empty cross. We lost our dad on December 29th and did a road trip for my mother. We went to James Avery on the grounds, saw beautiful birds, deer, had an amazing time around the fire. The house was exactly what we needed for the night. The location was perfect and the home was beautiful. We will be back during the summer time and stay here again.

Very relaxing and peaceful

After working outside all day in the Texas heat, we arrived at the house where cold water, cold AC and snacks were waiting for us. The house was exactly as pictured. Super cute and very clean. The bath towels were large and luxurious. The beds were so comfy that we all slept in both mornings. We loved watching the deer from the big picture windows. We saw many fawns, doe, and bucks in felt. We enjoyed several meals on the outside deck. I definitely recommend this beautiful home for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle. We would most definitely stay here again.

Very helpful responsive host. We enjoyed the many beautiful deer outside our bedroom window at sunrise each morning. The Avery house was very clean, comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee, spices and cooking supplies.
