On way back from top of Scotland this was a lovely stop over, amazing views of the hills. Staff fantastic, food excellent good bar selection and a fab lounge with log burner for the guests. Rooms are perfect for what you need. Only minor gripe is the mattress on the bed was a bit tired and could do with changing. Overall fab place. Defo use again

Stayed for 3 nights, lovely spacious bedroom very comfy kingsize bed, breakfast was delicious my favourite was the pancakes with fruit. Evening meals were also delicious, presentation and taste. Hotel is in a very central location not far from Keswick and Grassmere.

Lovely trip to the lake district to walk and attend the Marmalade festival at Dalemain House. The restaurant for dinner and breakfast were excellent and staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was memorable.
