The hotel had an "Awesome" shuttle service that will drop you off and pick you up every 1/2 hour from the downtown area. This was really a great service that you could use around your timeline for exploring the area. Also, this property is not too far from Ernest Hemmingway's Mansion. There is a few to enter the property but it was worth the experience and pictures.

I originally booked a King w/sofa bed and the check-in host downgraded me to king. I suspect they gave my reserved room to some diamond member and then charged me $25 resort and $15 parking per day. For 2 bottles of water & shuttle. Anyway if you are diamond you probably got my room and then you got $20 credit and free parking. Imagine how disappointed I am. I will never recommend this property. It is not a resort.

It’s so noisy from road traffic. The pool area was nice, but the road traffic was so loud, it wasn’t enjoyable at all. Front desk person at check in couldn’t even recommend a dining place on the water to recommend. Didn’t like the dark stairwell near the busy street. It’s an older motel that’s been renovated.

The room could use a little updating of the decor etc. There was no closet or place to hang anything up. It had been modified for handicapped. The outside walls and doors looked dirty or needed paint. Staff was very nice and helpful.
