Missing some essentials
We enjoyed our stay at the resort overall. The check in process was quite convoluted, and difficult to find the parking lot, but overall was just fine. I did think it would be difficult to check in if you didn’t have access to the email with check in information. It was frustrating that you had to type in the code every time to get into the condo (no key to open the door) and that it didn’t lock automatically. The location was beautiful and the building was pretty quiet overall which we loved. The unit was mostly clean when we got there, but we were bothered by the lack of basic cleaning supplies (no broom, no kitchen rags or towels) also the pool was very dirty our first day there.

Beware: If the VRBO listing still has air-conditioning and jetted tub as a part of the listing, that information is incorrect. We booked this property through VRBO, but the amenities and details of the property are only correct on the Vacasa website. Because the property manager only looked at the Vacasa listing, he wouldn’t even talk to me about the inconsistencies in the VRBO listing. This place probably would have been fine. Had we not specifically looked for a place with air-conditioning and then didn’t get one.

Check in process could be better. Trying use a lock box at knee level in a dimly lit lobby was not easy when my son and I arrived. Rental unit was clean, but could use full sized bath towels.

Great Stay walk in walk out
This condo is very close to the gondola but it definitely is walk in walk out not ski in. That being said, it’s a short walk and very convenient to the village as well. We walked over for dinner the first night (Zuma) and drinks and apps on our last night (Kickapoo Tavern). The condo was roomy enough for the four of us adults. It had everything we needed. Plenty of towels, soap, trash bags etc. The kitchen had all the pots and pans, coffee maker with filters and a crockpot.

Great location!
Great location. I have stayed at red hawk multiple trips because of that. Room was clean as well anticipated. There was an issue getting the keys at check in time as they were not in the lockbox. They were quick to respond but slow to get there. 45 min later I located them in a back up lock box.. I appreciated the follow up call to check in and apologize the following day. That being said I would still go back!

Great location. Everything was clean and ready for us. Beds were comfortable. The only complaint was that several of the light fixtures were out in the guest bedroom. We tried looking for new bulbs, but think it was the electrical outlet. It just made for that one room to be a little dark.

Red Hawk 2254
My family and I enjoyed are stay in Red Hawk 2254. My wife, myself, and our 2 children stayed in the bunk bed room, while my parents were in the master. The condo offered ample space for all of us. My kids and I loved being able to walk to the gondola, play pool or foosball, sitting in the hot tub, and swimming in the pool. If you are looking for a convenient ski-in/ski-out location I would recommend this unit.

Beautiful mountains all around
Condo was nice and pretty clean. Great location. Shops, restaurants and gondola ride all within walking distance. Did a great hike up top from the gondola. We went to Dillon, Frisco and Breckinridge which were all very close. Only complaints were the beds are uncomfortable, linens on the bed didn’t feel/smell fresh and the toilet paper was the worst lol. Also the check in process was complicated and finding that underground garage with all the construction and no signage was not fun!! I tried calling because we needed help finding the garage and got no where with the rental company.

Great location, short walk to the gondola
This is nice slope side condo, walking distance to the gondola and river run village. Please be advised, there is a massive construction project going on right out front with hundreds of trucks moving rocks all day long, aside from that this is a nice place to stay.

Great location!
Loved the location being just out of river run village but across the parking lot from the Gondola. It was much quieter and about the same walk. Bunk beds in the second bedroom make staying with kids a breeze. Huge pantry that is well stocked with all the kitchen gadgets you could ever need!

Short walk to River Run Gondola
The 2 bunk beds provided plenty of room for our party. The large walk-in pantry had plenty of cooking appliances and food storage. Also, River Run Village is a short walk away. Giving you access to all of the shops and restaurants without driving. Very satisfied with price, amenities, and location.

Wrong Lock Box Code with Limited Help To Resolve
We were stuck outside and lost about 90 minutes of our vacation due to this ordeal. When we contacted the management team all they could do was read the check in instructions that we already had. Later they found out they gave us the wrong lock box code. I was also surprised they only give you 1 dish washing pod for our 3 night stay.

The directions were not some what difficult to access the condo. The initial email with the code to unlock the lock box wasnt the same ans had to keep calling for directions to gain access. We were suppose to lock up the keys when we left back in the lock box and was unable to. We spent more time worrying about how to work the lock box and making sure we could rerturn the keys it didnt make it for a relaxing stay all the way. We shouldmt of had to worry about something as easy of returning rhe keys. Finally we called again and told them we were leaving them on the counter. Most likely we will book from another condo so we dont have to go through that again.

WORST SUMMER RENTAL WOULD COULD IMAGE - THE ONLY THINK WORSE WAS HOW VACASA HANDLED OUR COMPLAINT!
The property, as a summer rental was absolutely the worse that you could ever have. VACASA the Management Company is guilty of complete negligence in how they represented this property. They charged an outrageous price for what was received and then added over 40% of additional charges (OVER 400 DOLLARS WORTH - which is downright criminal. The location of the property, in Keystone Colorado (Red Hawk complex to be exact) could not be worse if you planned it. For our entire stay (7 nights) we were inundated with STREET NOISE (cars, transit buses, shuttle buses, Keystone facility vehicles, people accessing/leaving the complex both for the Red Hawk complex as well as the complex directly across the road. This went on for ALL HOURS OF THE NIGHT. THE LATE NIGHT DRUNKS WERE ESPECIALLY VULGAR AND OBSCENE - something my 10-year-old daughter will not soon forget!!!!! DAY ONE - I registered a complaint with VACASA and they DID NOTHING to address our complaint and allowed us to be suspected to this night after night!!! Depriving my family of SLEEP and RUINING our vacation - to the point that my daughter became ill due to lack of sleep!! VACASA to this date will not OWN UP TO THEIR FAILURE AS A MANAGEMENT COMPANY AND CONTINUES TO LIST AND ATTEMPT TO RENT UNITS IN THIS COMPLEX!!! VACASA touts themselves as a company that supposedly cares about their customers and wants to ensure they have a wonderful vacation - that is a complete lie!! They are in the business or taking advantage of unsuspecting renters and are looking to make money above all else - regardless of the adverse impact, it has on the unsuspecting families. Families that are only looking to make wonderful memories during their vacation but up having those memories turn into nightmares!!! My family and I hope that this information helps other unsuspecting families stay away from VACASA and the properties they rent - because we are sure this is not an isolated situation. We also feel that VRBO should be more responsible for managing who is allowed to advertise on their site - especially companies like VACASA!!!

Perfect spot for a family with young kids as the location is a quick walk to the gondola and River Run Village. Well-stocked kitchen with a nice big dining table for the family. Clean and quiet. Location of the unit is close to the elevator and unpacking/ packing the car with all of our junk was one of the easier times I have had. Only complaint is that the mattress in the first bedroom is too hard, almost like sleeping on plywood.
