Our second stay at Brees cottage this year. Suited us perfectly because we just needed a little place that was comfortable for the two of us and had easy access to the beach. Bree is so friendly and cannot do enough for you. More than happy to stay there again. Definitely our go to.

Hidden gem!
An oldie but a goodie! 🌴🌿 What an amazing private little piece of paradise, with walking access less than 5 mins to the beach, No drive by cars so very safe for the kids even with a sneaky ocean view to enjoy our happy hour drinks each afternoon. Loved our stay and will be back again. Thanks Bree for sharing your little hidden gem.

Nice hub with all the basics .
Clean, very simple, the owner very helpful and comunicative. Exactly as described . If you like to disconect, this is the perfect place. Only Telstra works but hard to get coneccion ervey where on the island.

No doors, tiny rooms, no real entertaining area. To be fair, it is an old property and for its age I guess it did the job. We were not aware it would be soo small with no doors and snoring kept us all up. It was clean and usable.

Good location. Property manager Bree is very helpful and friendly. Cottage is clean and comfortable enough however some ceiling fans would be appreciated as it gets very hot at night with no breeze. Good fridge and separate chest freezer to keep your food cold. Could not get the oven or grill to work and was frustrated there were no tongs anywhere we could find, otherwise cuutlery and dishes selection good and BBQ cooked well enough. Would stay again but next time I'll bring a fan.

The property was advertised as a beach shack. It was a 50 year old fibro building with limited access to electricity. It was dirty, with wood rot and peeling paint. The bed was ridiculous, and the offer of a few bits of foam from the renter was a joke. It took three days to work out how to get a hot shower adequately. There is not way this property would meet any building codes and should not be put up for rent. And it was not cheap, so price was not the issue.

DON'T STAY HERE
Terrible from the get go. Called BREE at 1:30 and told everything is already for us to go. Pulled up to cabin (run down shack) for her to come racing up to us saying theres no power and that we rushed her. So i had to jump start the generator let it charge the battery to find out the battery is no good, so then had to hook up another battery. No fans in this place or working windows, brought a 600w air cooler for some air flow to have her blow up the next day saying we broke house rules and showed me apparent email she sent directly to me(she cant do) which i had no record of because i dealt with STAYZ. Mind you she shut the power off in her locked shed and tried to blame someone else for braking in. So air cooler back in the trailer and still the next day come back to shack with power shut off again. My wife went to ask her to put power back on and was treated with disrespect and told i dont need to speak to you. Had enough by this stage so i packed up my family and moved across the drive into our friends accommodation, BREE didnt know this and later that night we watch her walk around the shack shining a torch through the kitchen window, put in a massive complaint to STAYZ for them to refuse even a partial refund.
