Lovely little cottage, nice and warm with decent beds. Fully equipped kitchen. Small bathroom with adequate electric over-bath shower. Only drawback is that cottage is not in a village but literally in the middle of nowhere with no facilities within walking distance. Walking is not recommended as there is no roadside paving or street lighting at night, great for dark sky viewing! However there are lots of decent pubs a short drive away and a convenience store about a mile away. Also Woodstock village is only 2 miles away and well worth a visit. CAUTION we were travelling with our dog and booked the cottage as it was listed on VRBO as "Pet Friendly and "Pets Allowed" but the check-in details from the letting agents said pets weren't permitted to enter the property!
