"I can’t recommend Hotel Wailea enough! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we had an absolutely spectacular stay. Everyone was friendly and accommodating and helpful. The hotel itself is magical. The suites are private and so well equipped and decorated beautifully. My husband loved the fact that he could ask for more cookies on demand. Sometimes it’s the little things. Being an adult only resort was the main attraction for us but once we arrived, we realized there was so much more to the resort that made it spectacular, including the pool, the restaurants, the gym and The Birdcage. Hotel Wailea did not disappoint us in the lease and we are already looking forward to our return."

"First I can not say enough about the staff at Kohea Kai. They really made us feel welcomed from when we first stepped onto the property. Nestled right across the street from the beach and minutes drive down to Safeway and Foodland, this was the perfect location for us on our trip in Maui. It was also 8 mins from our first surfing lessons. The room was big, comfortable with a nice kitchen. While it did show some signs of age, it was lovely and homey and our kids loved it. There is a small pool and hot tub. A nice outdoor event space to just relax at night with romantic lighting. And there is one washer and dryer for guest to use at $2/load. Parking is available on property. "

"Gorgeous beach, clean, comfy bed/room. Snorkel, scuba, kayak available on site. Five min walk to shops, restaurants, and market that offers grab-and-go sandwiches, etc. We started our visit with the grand Luau day of arrival. Great way to kick off trip."

"Liked: - New, modern luxury suite with kitchen and pots/pans/utensils etc. - Weel kept grounds, beautiful pools and places to eat nearby. - Walk to beach Few issues: - Recent flooding and mud slides (end of Jan) caused road closures around the resort. Single construction entry at the rear of the property was the only entrance and it was not clearly marked. I had an awful time finding the entrance at night, driving a rental car in an unfamiliar area and resort desk did not pick up the phone when I called."

"This is an outstanding resort. I was upgraded to a suite which was fantastic. The room was spacious, comfortable and had a great wrap around balcony with seating and great views of the ocean. Any resort like this is not going to be inexpensive so as long as you know that going in, you will not be disappointed. The amenities are excellent and easily accessible. The grounds have been set up so that you can get to the pool, the beach, the restaurants with ease. The adult only pool is a great option and a nice mellow and quiet space if you want to be away from families and their energy. The staff was exceptional in every venue from check-in to check-out. They were able to accomodate and help with requests. This was my first trip to Hawaii and I am full convert and plan to be back. My thanks to the folks at the Fairmont for such a great stay. "The property was in good location in between Lahaina and the airport. The room was great despite it was not what was showed in the pictures and as listed. It appeared that we were in first floor verses the second floor also there is absolutely no air conditioning just fans. The listing should have at least stated that there wasn’t any or that it had standing floor fans. Overall, the property was great for the price and location. "

"50 yards to the sand. Friendly staff. Free parking. Room was small but it was clean and updated. Continental breakfast. Little market right next door. Had a small fridge and microwave. 👍"
