Location, location, and location. The ocean is at your fingertips! The entire complex is perfect. The manager of the condo was very accomodating. We miss waking up to the ocean view and a great cup of Maui coffee.

Aloha, We've been traveling to Maui for over 40 years. This is one of our favorite places to stay ever! Glorious ocean views, lovely beach access and so peaceful! Our first sunset there was a mama and calf cavorting just offshore and then we think they headed north because no more sightings. It was late April. The lanai is fabulous, the sunset views perfect! The little beach below had a perfect sandy entry. The only drawbacks were the linens. I am sensitive to fragrances and the linens were heavily scented due to detergent with fragrance and/or fabric softener. I had to rewash everything twice in hot water to break down the heavy fragrance and gummy feel. Sheets not 100% cotton and the pillows are just chunky foam. The seating for watching a movie is not great, which we only wanted to do once. I think next time I will bring a separate suitcase with my pillow and linens :) :) Loved the location and property. We walked south to near Makena, north to Andaz and up the hill. Enjoyed having meals at the condo with our perfect view! Mahalo

We loved our stay here! Unbelievable view from the lanai, lovely grounds and pool, and a few extra pleasant surprises such as a large herb garden and BBQ area just steps from our condo, as well as pickleball (with racquets to check out). The location is perfect, with lovely walks in either direction, beautiful beaches and great snorkeling and diving right outside your door. Kitchen was also well-stocked, with a whole shelf-full of spices, oils and vinegar etc. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

There can not be a place with a better location than this one. Seeing the view from the balcony for the first time felt like slipping the surly bonds of Earth and touching the face of God. After you stay here, you will know the melancholy Da Vinci describes after experiencing flight. You will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you long to return.

Great Week in Maui
Property is exactly like pictures shown in rental page and literally has every appliance/amenity required to feel like at home, just on the beach! Lanai sits directly overlooking the little beach area and Beach access is less than a 3 minute walk from door to sand. Snorkeling is terrific from here as well, with numerous PAiD excursions coming to where you can snorkel free from this beach. Very quiet and comfortable, would highly recommend.

Makena Surf is an incredible place. This was our 3rd stay at this resort and we can't wait to cone again. The unit is very well maintained. The views from the lanai are breathtaking. Anke is a great host, she responded to all our questions in a timely manner, checkin and checkout were very easy.

Beautiful condo with the most amazing view and location
Our family of 4 enjoyed staying in this gorgeous condo at Makena Surf. The view from the lanai was so dreamy and spectacular we spent as much time outside as possible. The condo itself was super clean and had everything we needed to enjoy a week in paradise. The beach on the property was so much fun. We saw turtles everyday while the kids boogie boarded. We hope to be back again for our next spring break. Mahalo!

This place is exquisite. Tastefully decorated, comfortable furniture, three separate climate-controls (one for each bedroom and one for the living space), and everything needed for a feel-at-home stay. The view from the lanai is gorgeous, relaxing and peaceful and the easy and quick access to the beach and cove was unparalleled. Snorkeling literally yards from your living space was a joy and treat, and can't be done justice with a few words. Finally, plenty of dining options within a 5-10 minute drive. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Stayed here woke family (2 adults, 2 elementary school age kids). This property is exactly as the photos and description depict. Location is great - a bit farther down the road from the big resorts where beaches were much more quiet. The Mākena Surf property overall is very quiet and calm. Perfect for relaxation or just hanging out on the lanai. This unit was well stocked with all the kitchen supplies we needed. A nice welcome package of fruit, coffee, and wine greeted us in the kitchen. We did pay it forward by leaving extra tp and paper towels and a couple of non perishables. Our kids enjoyed the beach, lanai, and playing with the wooden blocks. Also great to have access to beach chairs, umbrella, and pool noodles in the storage bin outside. Communication was seamless with Anke. We would definitely stay here again pending availability! Aloha and Mahalo!

I consider myself an avid, seasoned traveler. I have booked and stayed in numerous places that definitely did not meet expectations set by online pictures. I have to say this place is definitely worth the money and WILL exceed your expectations. Everything worked (washer/dryer/dishwasher/stove/oven/microwave/sub-zero fridge/coffee maker/tv) like it should. The host was very helpful and helped our long-overdue vacation go off without a hitch. Waking up to the crashing waves in Wailea is just not something you can beat. We will definitely be staying here again. Mahalo Anke!
