Lost tourists treated badly!
Extremely difficult to find. The address was very vague. We rang them 4 times to ask for something around or more detail so we could put in our GPS. Not helpful. At 9pm after looking for hours we were left a message telling us to go elsewhere as the owner was going to bed! Then the next day she left a message demanding payment as she supposedly sat up until 11pm!!! The address given was Ballykipogue Kilbride. She told us there are 6 Kilbrides in Ireland - but it is easy to find? What a joke.

Never even got to see inside
Disgusted. The landlady told me when I rang to ask what time could we check in for... Shouted at me that I had cancelled and there's no room for us and she has abln operation and wasn't dealing with this. When I can't explained that I had confirmed our booking with her weeks in advance. I had spoke to her daughter who I offered to pay half price in advance but she said it was ok. Continuing the conversation she said right be here before eleven take the keys and go off cause she has shipping to get done and anyone else would be turned away. We got there for half ten to be met with a man who continued to tell us while shaking his hands at us... It's not fair it's not fair. Out came this landlady yelling. I've cancelled everyone. Your not staying that's it. I said excuse me but I spoke to you twenty minutes ago and you told us to be here before eleven. She shouts again. I have issues. I can't deal with this. . I said I can see you have issues. We've just travelled from Dublin to stay here and now we have nowhere. She did not care one bit.. never ever ever will I set foot there again. The woman most definitely has issues and no way should be in the hospitality business.

Cute Place with a Sweet Hostess
The owner of the B&B is a charming Irish lady. She was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast she made for us was delicious! The room was cute and the bathroom was pretty spacious. The shower was small and a little complicated and it took us a bit to figure it out. The 2nd bed was basically a cot and not very comfortable, but the double bed was nice. Everything was clean and comfortable. Overall an adorable place to stay and one of our favorite places out of the 5 places we stayed at during our trip.

The landlady was adorable and couldn't do enough for us but the location is a nightmare to get to. Very remote. Amenities were basic.... there was nowhere for miles to either go to a shop or eat. Beautiful scenery if you have your own transport. Personally I feel that the rooms just need a bit of money spending on them to bring up to date.
