"I can't say enough about how wonderful this place is. It is rustic, peaceful and quiet with a beautiful view. The breakfast is excellent and the hospitality is outstanding. My only word of caution is that there are many steep stairs to get from the road to the property so it wouldnt be appropriate for people living with mobility limitations. Otherwise i highly recommend it. "

"The property was fine but there were two things that stood outabout our stay. Firstly it was a quiet location with fabulous views. Secondly and most significantly, the couple that ran the hotel where absolutely charming and extremely helpful. They made a meal for us when we arrived which was delicious and the helped arrange a tuk tuk for a morning of touring. We found all the people we dealt with in Sri Lanka were welcoming and nice, but this couple stood out as extra special."

"Excellent location in Ella where we stayed for one night. Very friendly and courteous staff. Comfortable & clean room. View from the balcony overlooking the valley and the mountain was spectacular. "While the location was good, the hotel was a huge disappointment and the room looked nothing like the photos..the bed had 2 small, old and flat pillows. The sheets were poor quality and pilled. No cover other than the top sheet and nor surface to even put my toothbrush down on in the bathroom.,plus the toilet was loose and moved when you sat down. The breakfast was horrible also.,pick another place.lots to choose from."
