"Came to Maine to run a marathon. We were lucky enough to find this residence instead of a hotel. I’m glad that we did. It’s a charming cabin that is very pet friendly if you bring a pet. Chilling out on the dock and listening to the loons while boaters cruise by was very relaxing. The owner is very available and easy to communicate with. If there was any one thing that needed additional attention, it would be the cleaning. The person who does the cleaning probably needs one of those Swiffers...

"I found the property to be accurately depicted as listed in VRBO. However, VRBO did state that the water was from a well and was drinkable. I did not find that to be the case as the running water has a very strong Sulphur odor and taste to it. We needed to go out and purchase bottled water for drinking. "

"We loved the location of this property. We have our own kayaks and we loved how easy it was to get them in and out of the water. We also enjoyed sitting on the wraparound porch where there is a nice breeze coming off of the other lake across the street. The kitchen is recently renovated and the bedrooms are nice and cozy. I have also never seen a place so well stocked with firewood. Property managers are ver friendly and helpful. 10/10."
