Rim walk was incredible experience and good to have 2 nights so recovery time without having to drive in or out on walk day. The Carmichaels resturant was amazing food for the remoteness of this place. Food served for breakfast and dinner was sooo go

Area around Kings Canyon resort is awesome. The 4 hr rim walk was doable with 4 & 5 yr olds. There’s free wifi at the canyon walk so no need to pay the wifi charges at accomodation.

Kings Canyon itself was amazing and a must see, but the accommodation nearby was appalling . Kings Canyon Resort was nowhere near a resort but more like a school campsite from the 1960s.
