A Broadway music director purchased this Woodstock home in 2015, and since then it's become the favorite getaway for many of Broadway's finest. Now open to the public!

This warm, rustic, and welcoming home, designed by a visual artist, is the perfect vacation and weekend getaway. With its sprawling windows, the elevated house seats you in the heart of spectacular forest serenity and views which can be enjoyed from every room in the house while being just walking distance from town.

The chef’s kitchen is ideal for those who love to cook, and just as inviting for those who prefer to order food from one of the fine restaurants in town. Enjoy entertaining in the indoor dining room or on the huge back deck, which provides the perfect setting for barbecuing, dining, reading, and peaceful star-gazing.

The house sleeps up to 8 and offers 3 master bedrooms, all with private en suite bathrooms, perfect for 3 couples to share or a family. Watch cable TV or a movie on the flat screen TV in the upstairs living room, or enjoy the peaceful atmosphere in the spacious downstairs music room/ living room where there is a grand piano and other musical instruments, various board games, and another large flat screen TV (both with Netflix and Cable).

Just a 20 minute tree-lined walk or 3 minute drive to the center of the beautiful village of Woodstock with its fine restaurants and arts, and from ‘Big Deep’ - where swimming in the natural waters is at its best.

A very spacious and tidy home with all the amenities you could ask for and more. Check in process was very easy. The location is half a mile away from the main Woodstock town strip full of shops, restaurants, bars etc. Would definitely book again!

Stayed with family and friends. Loved the large open design of the house. Also loved that the bedrooms all had their each bathroom it was like we all had a hotel room of our own. I would love to come back in the summer. Our whole gang loved the house. Lastly the downstairs area is great if you are traveling with children.

We had a great time, and the space was great. The house is so spacious, and that was perfect for us. We would have liked a few more towels, a bit more soap and shampoo, and the grill didn't get hot enough to cook the steak we had brought. Overall a wonderful time. Thank you very much.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean, spacious, and very well maintained. It was very close to our main attraction, a concert at Levon Helm's barn. It is also very close to downtown Woodstock. I would definitely stay at this house again.

A Serene Retreat

Spacious Country House near woodstock

Our group of 6 women stayed for a long weekend for the Woodstock Film Festival. House is in a great location, has great amenities, super spacious. Very clean and well kept. Walkable to town, but still very remote feeling. Communication with owner was quick and efficient. Will definitely stay again!

Everything about our stay was easy and felt just right. We walked in and instantly felt like it was our home-everything is comfortable, accessible. Beautiful giant plants and big couches-as a special request in February, the grill was ready and waiting for us. Having a piano to play was an added bonus. It's private and quiet and the setting is beautiful-we can't wait to go back!

Great House
This was my family's second stay this summer, and it was awesome. We love the house (obviously) and the location is perfect for checking out Woodstock and the surrounding natural beauty. The hiking trails in the area are pretty incredible, including a number of very cool waterfalls. The house is secluded (in a good way), but in walking distance to the Woodstock business district. The house is very spacious and had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. We'll be back ... again!

We have stayed at this house several times. It accommodates our group well with great cooking and grilling facilities as well as plenty of space for us to spread out comfortably. We enjoy being able to walk into town or drive to great hiking. I have also stayed at this house twice for girls weekends.

Wonderful House
My family really enjoyed staying at this awesome house. It was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. A real bonus was the musical instruments that were available to play. Created a lot of family fun. The location was perfect. Many trails in the Catskills were in close proximity. The business district of Woodstock was also close. This is definitely a house we would rent again.

Perfect for. Family or Group
This beautiful, very private and secluded property and two story home with an antique lodge style feel was very relaxing. Laid back, well accommodated and well stocked and only a couple of minutes from downtown Woodstock. We had a wonderful time. Our host Or was very accommodating and truly cared our comfort was taken care of at all times. I heartily recommend this wonderful place. Great for a family or a group of friends. Especially those who love music or are musicians in their own right. We would stay again.

Ideal Location and Home
What a fabulous time we had in the spacious, welcoming home. Our family of four (two young adult children) had ample room to spread out, and also warm and welcoming spaces to gather. Super close to town, but with a remote and private feel. We explored Woodstock, spent a day skiing, visited the Roosevelt Presidential Library, and walked in the woods around the home. Everything from renting and check-in, through check-out, was super easy. Would happily stay here again, and could comfortably bring extended family / friends.
