"We took our teens during winter for some fun in the snow. The location is great: close to downtown Truckee and all that Tahoe Donner has to offer. The cabin is cozy and comfortable. "The cabin was so nice and cozy and it had plenty of room for our entire group. It was also fully stocked with kitchen supplies and various spices. The location was excellent and the free shuttle service was perfect for going snowboarding at Northstar. The host was incredibly responsive and checked in to make sure everything was alright. "This little slice of heaven was exactly what I needed for a weekend away. The location is superb and right across the parking lot from Northstar Village, the gondola and a load of beautiful trails. It’s also far enough away from the village that you don’t hear all the partying going on and kids screaming. ;) You could definitely ski in/out - just note a very tiny uphill section from the property. Parking was easy, hosts were dynamite and I can’t wait to go back! "

"Can’t beat the location with ski-in/ski-out right onto the gorgeous Palisades Mountain. Kids enjoyed the heated pool and jacuzzis late into the evening.
