"APA rooms are small, but perfectly fine. This hotel had a good number of washing machines and dryers. There was a 7/11 store in the hotel that was very handy. "

"This was a beautiful hotel! From the entrance to the public bath, restaurant and rooms everything was great! The hotel is located near a metro stop but it's not in the heart of Kyoto which we really liked as it meant we weren't in the heavy crowds but yet we were able to get where we needed to go using Go Taxi, walking or by taking the metro. "

"Good hotel in a busy area for bars and restaurants but very quiet at night. A few minutes walk from Osaka station. Room was good and well equipped. Good shower room. Breakfast had a good choice for all tastes. Would stay again."

"I had a wonderful visit at the Portopia Hotel. My room had all of the toiletries I needed plus a set of pajamas and slippers. When I ordered room service, the staff came to my room to take my order. I would definitely recommend this hotel as an American visiting Japan. However, it is on Port Island so I had to tax in Kobe."

"We had a great stay at Nohga hotel! The hotel is conveniently located about an 8 minute walk from the train station, and walking distance from Kiyomizu temple and the famous Sanenzaka and Ninenzaka streets. The hotel has a modern organic style, cute lobby with bakery that was always bustling, and a great rooftop bar with great cocktails and views. Every staff member was extremely polite and friendly, and the service was top notch. Our room was on the smaller side but was thoughtfully laid out...
