"Amazing house and location, recommend for a stay 👍"

"The house was an ideal setting to see in the new year. The area has lots of interesting walks and cycling routes. The hosts provided plenty communication ahead of the booking and accomodated for our youngest guest (1 year old). The property could benefit from a few more kitchen essentials (bin bags, dish clothes etc), but this a wasn't major issue. All in all, a really nice stay."

"The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. A minor niggle, but it was a bit cluttered with cushions and throws in the sitting room - the throws just slid off the leather sofas and the cushions were too big and too many, so were surplus to requirements. The location suited us very well, with a host of lovely walks and places to visit nearby. We had a wonderful break and can recommend!"

"Cottage was clean cosy and comfortable. It is about 15 mins drive to castle douglas. Owners live next door so easy to contact with minor issues. We were familiar with local area as visited frequently before."

Warm,very well equipped, comfortable beds,travel cot and trouble taken to decorate a Christmas tree and decorate the rooms. Extra praise for the way a forgotten wallet was promptly detached. We can recommend Albion House without reservation."

"We had a lovely few days at Stellock house, helped by decent winter weather. The house is in a perfect out-of-the-way location but not too remote. The garden is large and safe for dogs, there’s a really nice brazier for an outdoor evening fire and we appreciated the provision of logs and kindling at this time of year. The house was warm, clean and cosy- it wasn’t really warm enough to use the conservatory which was a shame as it’s a beautiful addition to the property. There are really good...

"We had a good week at the property, it is a bit remote and shopping for food best done before you arrive at property or in larger village shops! Lovely gardens and beach for the kids, a bit rocky but kids loved looking in rock pools. The accommodation itself was spotless, very well stocked with kitchen equipment and appliances, we had the two cottages which made up the stables, so 2 kitchen and lounge areas, we tended to use the larger kitchen for eating and the smaller cottage lounge as it was...

"Excellent property. Great gardens for the kids to explore and very nice walk to the beach. We walked along the beach to the local pub than back along the farm road. We are planning on returning next year."
