"Beautiful apartment. It had comfortable beds and the entire place was spotless. Views in the morning were amazing. Really appreciated the coffee as well!! It is very remote. Long gravel road off the beaten path. Bring snacks, food and drinks because there is nothing on this stretch of Hwy 1 anyway. We stayed here on our way from Reykjavik to Glacier Lagoon. Perfect spot for an overnight stay. "

"The cottages are similar to what you would have found at original North American cottages years ago. The living space was big enough for a family with some newer furniture. The rooms are small with bunk beds, and barely space for small suitcases. One of the bunks in our room was missing a rung on the ladder which wasn’t the best. "This place had enough space for my husband and I and is conveniently located off the Ring Road and 208, which gives access to F208 and F210, among others. The views from the porch are beautiful and we experienced a wide range of weather during our short stay. We would certainly stay here again."

"The property was just as advertised. It was clean and had all the necessary amenities for a short stay of 1-2 days. The location is also perfect for those exploring Iceland since there are not many places to stay in the area. Beautiful view both in front and back of the property. "Alles war in Ordnung. Kein Luxus, aber alles nötige stand zur Verfügung. Mit 2 Schalzimmern ist es ideal für eine 4-Köpfige Familie. Das ist ein "Doppelhaushälfte", und durch den Trennwand konnte man die Nachbaren hören, ansonsten war alles Ruhig. Die Umgebung ist ländlich (ein Farm in der Nähe), mit schönem Aussicht. Die Lage ist ideal (1 Minute zur Ringstraße Nr.1) für Tagesausflüge (z.B. nach Kirkjubaejarklaustur, Jökulsárlón, Laki etc.) Gerne wieder!"
