"My family and i had such an awesome stay at The Overlook Cabin in Lake Lure. The cabin itself is absolutely gorgeous and cozy. Amazing views from the deck. Very clean! It offered a wide variety of entertainment in the game room. The kitchen was well equipped. Definitely recommend The Overlook and plan to visit again in the future. "

Our teen loved the downstairs game room and the adults appreciated the laid back charm and ease of the cabin and amenities. The view was lovely!We loved how dog friendly it was, too. "The property is a timeshare. I think you need to know that before u rent a very dated poor condition dirty holes in the doors, dirty walls very disappointed. rusty, refrigerator, mold, stoves, dirty, and broken. They actually did move us from one unit to the next because of the severely musty smell in the bedroom area, but that wasn’t even worse condition but by the time we were in there, the front office was closed and gone.We have stayed at some of these other properties before and they were excellent …actually after we saw the condition of the property we wanted to leave, but we were kind of stuck there because it was after hours. "
