I am from Houston,Texas and This was my first time vacationing in Zanzibar. I will say I got the best hospitality at VOI Kiwengwa than any other places I have been to outside America. The resort was awesome, the management was very helpful and listen to your concerns, OMG the staff are the best. The food and drinks was great. I highly recommend this resort to anyone that need a great vacation spot in Zanzibar Tanzania. I am surely taking my wife back to this resort every year. Is now my number one vacation spot in Africa. Thank you VOI Kiwengwa for the great hospitality especially Daniel and all the guys at the bar. You guys made my vacation the best

It was on the beach. Lots of sun loungers and staff to help move them when required. Mostly geared up for Italian visitors as it is an Italian hotel. Would be nice to have had access to local tv programmes to give authentic feeling.

I had a wonderful stay and felt very safe, welcomed and taken care of by staff and management. The property is beautiful with authentic Tanzania architecture, intricate craftsmanship details and exotic decor while providing all the modern amenities and fun of a great all-inclusive resort / Italian Club. Plenty of bottled drinking water, nice bar drinks and wonderful food at the main restaurant. The property is gorgeous with meticulously maintained tropical gardens leading to the wonderful huge pool and exotic beach with plenty of comfortable loungers. The rooms are beautifully decorated and reflect authentic interior while having everything one needs for rest and relaxation. Special thanks to Philippo in management for accommodating my late arrival and to Omar for the great sign off. Wonderful live music by very talented Alessio performing Italian and English hits nightly. The entertainment team was so hard working around the clock and very attentive. Great shows! Nice group of guests at the resorts from different countries, great vibes and so much fun! Hope to be back! Thank you all!

I really love this resort and I highly recommend it for anyone in USA hoping to vacation in Zanzibar Tanzania. I am from Houston, Texas and I have made VOI my vacation spot in Tanzania. This is my second time taking my fiance to this resort and I just love the hospitality you get once you step a foot into this resort. The manager was very awesome and the staffs are probably the best people you can ever meet in the world especial Massai Name Daniel whom I call my friend and Malik at the front desk whom I also consider as friend after meeting them twice in two years.. The entire staff are just wonderful. Food and drinks are great and the environment is very clean. The bar tenders are the best, The entertainment group were wonderful. You can not beat this all inclusive resort cos is a place you want to go back after visiting once. I just wanna say thanks to the Entire staffs and management for always making us feel special whenever we visit VOI. And I will forever cherish the treatment we get whenever we visit VOI. Thanks and God Bless each and everyone of you for all you do for all the visitors..My only regret is I did not get the chance to tip all the wonderful Chelfs in the cafeteria for all the good food the prepared for us. Nous avons passés 2 semaines à l’hôtel où nous avons eu la chance d’avoir une chambre vue piscine et mer . Les repas sont divers et variés avec bien sûr une connotation italienne , ce qui est normal étant un hôtel italien . Merci au directeur de l’hôtel pour ses attentions et son écoute ( et parle très bien français ) . Il y a une très belle plage avec suffisamment de transats pour se reposer soit à la plage ou autour de la piscine . Les beach boys sont présents sur la plage mais ils sont tenus à distance par des gardes .

ottima struttura situata su una spiaggia da favola con sabbia bianca finissima, parco curatissimo, personale simpatico, disponibile e molto attento a qualsiasi esigenza. Cibo ottimo. I ragazzi dell'animazione carinissimi e amorevoli. Tutti parlano italiano. Appena arrivati ci ha infastidito un pò la presenza assillante dei beach boys in spiaggia, ma una volta conosciuti si sono rivelati anch'essi gioviali e simpatici tant'è che ci siamo scambiati i numeri di telefono. Abbiamo fatto due escursioni organizzate dal resort: belle e ben organizzate. Unica cosa che non ha funzionato è stata la prenotazione che avevamo richiesto per il transfer dall'aeroporto al resort, non si è presentato nessuno ma abbiamo optato per un taxi, nessun problema. E' stata una bellissima vacanza. Grazie a tutti voi per averla resa indimenticabile! Adriana e Roberto

Il resort è bellissimo, pulito, curato e perfettamente integrato col paesaggio. La cucina è veramente top, così come tutti i servizi offerti dall'hotel. L'animazione è sempre presente ma mai invadente ed offre una grande varietà di spettacoli. Meravigliosa la visita alla scuola. Menzione a parte merita il servizio medico del quale abbiamo avuto la necessità di usufruire. Nonostante abbiamo dovuto affrontare un importante problema medico, conserviamo un meraviglioso ricordo di questo viaggio grazie alla profonda umanità e grande professionalità del dottore e dei due manager del resort che ci hanno assistiti costantemente sino al nostro rientro anticipato in Italia. Vorremmo ringraziarli con tutto il cuore per tutto quello che hanno fatto per noi e per la meravigliosa vacanza. Herlicher Strand , leider, da der Strand öffentlich ist , viele Beachboys , aber mit Ignoranz schafft man den Weg zum Wasser :-) Zimmer sind sehr schön, sauber, und nicht zu verlebt/ noch in guten zustand. Wir hatten das letzte Haus zum Stand und Pool , Nachts hörten wir das Meer.( Wir dachten zuerst, die Klima wäre kaputt).Super, wir hatten keine einzige Mücke im Zimmer.Das Essen war Gut, Italienischer Koch , jeden Tag eine leckere Vorspeise, Rest vom Essen war OK; Doch freundliches Personal, ab und zu an der Poolbar etwas launisch, aber vertretbar. Wir hatten eine Wunderbare Woche, freuen uns das zu Wiederholen.
