We visited historic Bamberg, played golf on a lovely nine hole course and found some peaceful lakes to picnic and read by. "We really enjoyed our stay. It was nice that the home was traditional with modern updates to the kitchen and bathroom. We were too busy to get to the restaurants in town, but the bakery was delicious and the town was beautiful to walk through. We appreciated the welcome bottle of wine, bread, and hanutas! The 6am clock tower bells caught us off guard, but after a couple days we were able to sleep through them. Overall we're so happy with our stay and would highly recommend to others!"

"The apartment was spotlessly clean, was of recent redecoration and had all the kitchen utensils etc you could want to prepare meals. It is in a quiet village an easy 5 kilometre cycle along the river into the old town of Bamberg and within walking distance of a few local restaurants and bars. Parking was available directly outside the property and there was a secure shed for leaving bikes. Overall, it made an excellent base for our holiday "
