NEIGHBOURHOOD
Life can be busy and often the weeks slip by much faster than I would like to admit. I once read 'A Sunday well spent leads to a week of content' and while it sounds a little cliche I can't help but agree. Sundays are an opportunity to relax and recharge and while I may be bias, I really can’t think of a better place to do this than in the small, coastal town of Lennox Head. Whether you are visiting for the weekend or a long time local, I have put together some of my favourite Sunday activities with a slower pace in mind.
Take the scenic route for your morning coffee run
The main street of Lennox runs alongside the beautiful Seven Mile Beach. Take the time to walk through the town before grabbing a coffee from one of the amazing cafes on offer then continue along the coastal path towards Lake Ainsworth. Head down to the beach and pick a spot to enjoy your coffee. Take in the serenity and appreciate a few quiet moments to yourself. If you are feeling up to it continue your walk along the beach and jump in for a quick dip, I promise you will feel amazing afterwards!
An An easy stroll from the village and beach, Lake Ainsworth is a stunning lake that is lined with tea trees in striking contrast to the white sandy Seven Mile Beach. It’s an idyllic spot for fishing enthusiasts, kayaking, canoeing, picnics and barbecues.
