Hampton House - Lakefront/Pier/Kayaks/Outdoor Bar

Come stay at our beautifully decorated "Hampton House at Bass Lake"! 4 Bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths. The best location to watch the sunset while sitting on our private pier, lounging in our daybed under our pergola, or sitting with family or friends on our outdoor sectional on our extra large deck! Outside you will also find a large dining table, gas Weber grill, and fire pit with seating!
The 2 story home is completely redone!
Main floor boasts a gorgeous kitchen and dining area (seating for 6), kitchen island (w/ seating for 4), 2 reclining sofas, Bedroom w/ Queen bed, 1/2 Bath, Back room w/ daybed & trundle, additional Extra-large farm table for eating, or playing games (we have PLENTY available), and a super-comfy & large reclining chair & half perfect for reading & enjoying the views! You will also find the laundry room on the main floor.
Upstairs the EXTRA-Large Master Suite is your own private retreat! The most comfortable King Bed, a cozy reclining chair, coffee bar, mini-fridge, television, and a gorgeous bathroom with 2 vanities & shower!
Additionally, upstairs you will find 2 more bedrooms, both with Twin over Full bunk beds, and another full bathroom. We also have a fantastic outdoor shower!
The home is fully stocked with 2 tv's , DVD player, large fridge/freezer, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, blender, 3 coffee makers, indoor & outdoor dishes, outdoor cooler, weber grill, washer & dryer, the most comfortable beds and linens, 2 hairdryers, 3 kayaks, Stand-up paddle board, a canoe, plenty of games for kids & adults, and a selection of my favorite books. Also, enjoy the use of GOOGLE Home in the Kitchen/ living area and all bedrooms!
The lake is 30 feet at it's deepest point perfect for fishing & boating with lots of shallow area perfect for the kids to play & swim right off of our dock!
Locally you will find several great restaurants, a beach (but I bet you won't want to leave our home!), Plenty of shopping, groceries, and great restaurants in a quick 15 minute drive to Culver, IN, 30 minutes to Plymouth, IN., 1 hour to Notre Dame University, 1hr 45 min to CHICAGO, 2 hrs to INDIANAPOLIS

Loved the area and lake view
The house was stocked with life vests, kayaks and toys to use at the lake. Lots of seating and we loved revisiting this area after moving years ago. Communication with the owners wasn’t timely or friendly. The ring camera was used to monitor activity which we found intrusive. Besides that it was a good place to stay.

House had a beautiful sunset dock with all the lake living perks including a fire pit, kayaks, shallow beach for kids, long pier for additional shallow swimming fun. Great house for families, friends and little ones! Definitely a memorable family vacation!

Fabulous Family Vacation
Property was as described and actually better than pictures! We got lucky and had great weather, got to spend a lot of time outside and in the water! The very shallow water and sand bottom lake made it great for my grandkids, the water was clean and warm and all sorts of water toys and kayaks, etc to play with. Property owner has thought of everything you might need inside and out. We cooked and grilled and ate all our meals at the house, but did walk down the street to the ice cream store!! Communication was excellent and we had no issues at all. I hope to rent again someday!

Great for Family Time
Had a wonderful stay! Every year we pick a new location for our annual family lake house trip, and this was by far the favorite. The yard really made it for us - plenty of space for yard games and hanging out, the water was swimmable, thoughtful seating and shade. Tons of amenities. The house itself was great too. Stocked with enough of everything and the beds were so comfy! Worked well for my parents, siblings and their children. If we came back to Bass Lake I’d definitely book this again.

Fun and Relaxation
What a great time was had by all at the Hampton House. The outdoor living space was our favorite, plenty of yard to play games, relax on the deck, eat outside. There was lots of shade areas, we loved the round day bed, especially for sunsets. The house was equipped with all that you need...and the gas grill was great. The outdoor cooler kept our drinks cold all day with just 1 bag of ice. The outdoor shower was great for the Grands, they loved washing off the sand there. The lake is shallow, only about 5 feet at the end of the pier, but very sandy. Kids and adults had fun cooling off. The ladder to get back on the pier was perfect. Our family never watched TV, but loved the sound system inside and out to listen to our own music. There was plenty of room to sleep all of us comfortably. Thanks again for a wonderful time.

Fantastic Getaway!

Gorgeous updated property
Gorgeous updated property that offered every amenity we could ask for. The accommodations were top notch from the comfortable beds to the soft towels provided. The property had everything we could’ve hoped for including all types of games for inside and out, board games, lifevests, even wood for the outdoor fire pit !! The direct lake access from the dock was great!! Everyone of us said we would return for another stay!!! One of the best most accurate VRBO properties I have encountered. And the host was available for any questions or concerns at any time!! Thank you for opening your lovely home to our family, it really felt like our home away from home!!

We Didn't Want to Leave!
I rented this lovely home for my brother and my sister and her family when we came to Bass Lake for a family celebration. They loved the home so much that they extended their vacation to be able to stay and enjoy the home for a few more days. The home is very clean, super comfortable and very well appointed with much attention to detail . The master suite is huge and beautiful and all of the bedrooms are super comfortable. It was nice to have a first floor bedroom for someone with mobility issues. The backyard is wonderful - a stone firepit, deck, lounges and a terrific pier that extends far into the lake for a wonderful sunset vantage point. We had a great time canoing on the lake. I would highly recommend this home.

Perfect amount of space inside & outside for our family & grandparents. The kids loved playing in the water & jumping off the dock, as well as paddling around on kayaks and paddle boards. We were able to fish right from the dock too. The outside offered lots of different seating options to enjoy the lake views. It was a great place for some much needed family time!

Great for families with kids!
We had a wonderful time at the Hampton House! The house itself is fully renovated and beautiful! The kayaks and paddle board were perfect for my 12 and 9 year old nieces. The owner was very responsive with any questions we had! We can’t wait to visit again soon.

Love the lake
One of the best family vacations ever. Everything about this place was great. My grandkids, ages 6 and 8, experienced so many new adventures....lake swimming, fishing off the pier, kayaking, canoeing, playing in the sandy shallows and all of us enjoyed the deck on the pier. Thanks Cynthia for providing moorage for our boat. Hope to return to Hampton house again.

Family Weekend Getaway
Fantastic property and host. Great communication. My family had a great time in the house and yard. The house is bigger than it looks and completely decked out with smarthome accessories. The lake water is warm and the neighbors were friendly. Cynthia made sure we were taken care of from start to finish and I hope to come back to the Hampton House soon!

Gorgeous home with all the amenities!
We had a wonderful time in this gorgeous home! The outdoor setting was so relaxing, from the sectional couch, to the large dining table, the "egg" chair, round seating under the pergola...right down to the outdoor speakers!! Not to mention the beautiful views from the lake and campfires at night!! The kids all had fun on the kayaks and paddle board! They had yard games, board games, books... we took advantage of it all!! The house had everything you could ask for and ...more! The kitchen was very well equipped as we made all of our meals at the house. We hope to be back again in the future! Side note: we did not end up renting their pontoon boat due to weather forecasts (although, happy to report we had gorgeous weather!!) ... I would recommend renting their boat! It's located right at their pier! That's our only regret!

End of Summer Getaway
My wife and I took the kids and their friends to Bass lake for an end of summer vacation. This house was perfect, included all the modern amenities and the house looks brand new! We enjoyed all the water activities, camp fires at night, and played games throughout the week. Everyone had a great time and we are planning on returning next year.

Great House - Put in special touches
We loved our stay at the Lake House. The owner went out of her way to put top of the line everything into the home. Not the largest house, but incredible location on the lake, outdoor speakers, coolers, grill, anything you would want to relax and enjoy each morning sun and evening when the sunsets. Loved it.
