Absolutely Terrible

I wasn’t expecting luxury when I booked my stay at Horizon, but I was at least expecting adequate facilities. The room, with its one lightbulb, small window and mold all over the walls and fan, was dark and dirty. I’ve stayed at some rough hostel, bungalows, and hotels over the years, but this was by far the most disgusting and run-down. If that wasn’t bad enough, during what was supposed to be a four-night stay (I only stayed two because it was so bad), the toilet and shower never worked. When I told the staff about this, I was told, “Yes, it’s broken,” without any indication that it would be addressed. The only good thing about Horizon is the view from the beach/bar area — it’s quite good, especially at sunset. But even that is ruined by the fact that the food and drink prices are more expensive than just about anywhere else along the beach. Save yourself the time and trouble. Avoid Horizon and stay at any of the many other places along the beach at Khlong Nin.

Simply awesome!

This is the best place to stay in Ko Lanta. Right on the beach, live music every night. Fire show is awesome and the fresh fish on the grill is perfect!! STAFF IS SUPER CHILL! We had to move out for a few days (they were full and we didn't reserve in advance) and we couldn't wait to move back in. The beach is all sand and they provide tables, chairs, bean bag and unbrellas on the beach!! I love it here and really recommend this place!

Fin stämning, trevlig personal, livemusik på kvällen, bbq utmärkt strandläge. Obefintlig städning, smutsigt på rummen, ruffig standard till det priset. Kommer gärna tillbaka men inte för att bo där.

Pros - right on beach, lovely staff, came into own in evenings with good band, food & entertainment on beach. Cons - needs a bit of maintenance & cleaning, eg curtains in room filthy. We had basic cheap fan room, fine for us.

We jumped around a lot on Lanta and Horizon was by far the best place we stayed. Everyone treated us like a friend. It was relaxed during the day, and fun at night! The food was fabulous. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone new to Lanta like we were

Oui mais pour les bungalows seulement

L'hotel est très sympa et chaleureux, accès direct à la plage. Le personnel très sympa. Par contre, hotel.com vend la chambre de 12 m2 à 1000 bath sans fenêtre, sans télé, bref rien à voir avec l'annonce. Une honte !!
